  • "What a fabulous week at Argoed."

..So comfortable and love the views from the balcony looking down to the Menai, sunset s where amazing, very clean all through out, loved the upside down feel of the home, popped over to Anglesey to see the Red Squirrels again , Bodnant gardens great place to visit and lots more to explore...could do with more cleaning items ie. Sweeping brush or a vacuum...and can't forget the resident Peacock family loved seeing them every morning ...definitely be back again

  • "Absolutely excellent property, very clean and comfortable."

Everything you would need for a perfect stay. Just a couple of points that would possibly be of benefit, an iron and ironing board would be useful and either a free standing or permanent toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Having said that we would definitely recommend the property and it is a credit to the owners

  • "We really enjoyed staying at Argoed, The place is well equipped, very clean and also most comfortable, with sea views from the front balcony."

The rear balcony had furniture, but had been soaked with the recent heavy rain and not well covered. We couldn't find a teapot, so had to improvise for a decent cuppa. Whilst there we had a pre-arranged visit from Jake, the repair man, who fixed the niggles that previous guests have mentioned, he is a very efficient and tidy worker. All in all, we really liked Argoed and would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit this area.

  • "The house was perfect… very comfortable and clean."

It was great having a sea view from the property. The location was great … easy walk to a cafe and pubs which are dog friendly and it was a great base to explore the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our stay … thank you !

  • "The house is lovely in many respects, newly refurbished and very clean."

..BUT a number of aspects where this could be so much better When we arrived there was no welcome pack of information at all. We were unable to find the Wifi information - we contacted the number and were then given the wrong wifi password and no details as to the correct network to join.... we eventually found the router hidden under a table in one of the bedrooms ... The stairs are very steep and my husband nearly had an accident as when using the banister it was not securely fastened to the wall and came away in his hands... thankfully this was fixed fairly quickly after a further call. No information about bins, recycling etc or heating - the bedrooms were very cold despite the warm weather and had to sleep in extra clothing... The info does warn about the shower being very slippy - it is but the tiles are also quite sharp and there are no door hooks anywhere which is not great when using the bathroom This could be a really lovely house if a little more attention to detail

  • "We had a great stay and loved the balconies and swings."

The house was spotless and so comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. A great base for exploring nearby and so quiet overnight. I would definitely stay again : )

  • "This is a new to rental property, it was beautifully finished, and everything was very new, I had to take labels off a few things and take the wire off the dishwasher blades & baskets, could do with a few hooks in hallway for wet coats and somewhere in bathroom to put clothes / dressing gown when in shower."

Warning the shower floor was very slippy so I'd suggest taking some mini bath mats and the meter cupboard in the hall was a head banging hazard, but overall it was an excellent property and we had a lovely stay.
