  • "We were shocked to find a notice from the Receivers stuck to the door, stating."

.. 'Notice of intention to take possession on grounds of abandonement' And there were 24 hours notice to clear everything out before changing the locks! I can provide a copy of the notice if anyone is interested. I would hate to think that some holiday makers have paid to stay here and will not be able to get access.

  • "Sykes Holiday Cottages has NO customer service."

We asked for the twin beds to be made as a double and it wasn’t. There was NO way to contact them and the WhatsApp messages were answered by a computer. Why is there no human being to speak to? The internet site just went round in circles and no phone number was answered. Dreadful experience. The information book was out of date and there was no paper for visitors to add comments or recommendations. There were no leaflets or where to go and what to do as we have had in other rentals. There is no shaver point: no coffee pot of any kind: no kitchen scissors: no chairs in the bedroom so nowhere to put some clothes: no hooks. We saw comments on line with the same issues and they had not been rectified. Poor! The so called garden was just some very scrubby uncut grass. The TV needed rebooting every time we used it! The outside light at the back of the property was faulty and we had to waste time waiting for a maintenance man to come and fix it. It was permanently on and the thin blinds in the bedroom were useless. The response from the maintenance team was quick and very efficient. The car park needs clear labelling as this caused issues with 3 cars for the occupants of the penthouse flat. However, the location was good and an easy walk into Caernarfon for pubs and restaurants as well as Tescos just up the road. The flat is light and spacious but basically equipped.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Bryn min manton apartment."

Very spacious. Most of everything we needed were provided from cooking facilities, ironing, hair dryer. Comfortable bed and really good showers. We feel safe in the area and very convinience to shops walking distance to tesco and Mc donalds. Just across of Texaco petrol station, a bit tricky with the post code of the property manage to find in the end. Thanks for the pint milk and welsh cake. Only few minutes walk to the castle which is in the town centre. Our last night wasn't quiet as we can here people noises occupying above the property. The bed sheets and towels did not smell fresh. Extra bed sheets in the wardrobe provided.

  • "The property was as described."

Very well furnished. It was a very impressive apartment with high quality fixtures ands fittings and was immaculate and clean. I really enjoyed the place. However, when I arrived on Sunday night there was a smell in the kitchen which turned out to be all the food and wrappers that had been left in the bin in the kitchen. There were three black bags which were all full. I didn't appreciate having to empty someone else's rubbish having spent 5 hours driving. That is the only gripe that I had with my stay - I would definitely stay again when in Caernarfon

  • "I’ve rated our stay very highly the wife loved it and I did love it too."

The only issue was very small, but why do Holiday Lets only have Diddy mugs to drink out of would be nice to have a proper sized mug. Besides, that the place is very nice and the other thing was we found the beds extremely comfortable. We know this is different for everyone. We all have our own preferences.

Thanks Alan, Next time you come please drop us a message and we'll ensure you have some bigger mugs available! Thanks again. KR EB Property Owner

  • "There are a number of points which require attention in this otherwise excellent apartment."

Shortages there is no cafetière, there are no scissors, there are only 4 dinner plates small plates and dishes. There is no butter dish. There is no mirror in 2nd bedroom. The property would be improved if there were extra chairs and occasional tables. A handrail on the outside stairs would be a help. Non-slip mat in bathroom may prevent injuries. A supply of waste disposal bags would enable guests to empty the waste bin.

Hi John, Thanks for you constructive feedback it’s always appreciated. KR EB Property Owner

  • "Overall the property provided good spacious accommodation with all the facilities necessary for a comfortable stay."

There were, however, a few issues that could be addressed :- Both bathrooms would benefit from a shelf or vanity unit to store cosmetics etc. and a light above the mirror for shaving etc. For some reason, only scatter cushions were provided for back rests on both sofas in the lounge which made for uncomfortable seating. Although we put out the recycling bins for collection as requested, the dates for collection of the green bins were out of date so we were unable to leave them out. We would point out that all green bins were full and had obviously not been emptied for some time. I am happy for you to post my comments but they are really meant to help you provide a better experience for future guests rather than a criticism.

Hi Norman, Thanks for the feed back, constructive feedback is always welcome. We’ll look into the points raised and rectify accordingly. KR EB Property Owner

  • "Very clean and modern."

Very spacious with plenty of light. Beds were luxurious plus duvet etc. However...lack of furniture Need more coffee tables etc in lounge. Dressing tables in bedrooms. For safety..non slip rubber mats in shower. Found it difficult to climb outside steps without handrail.

Only suggestion - a guide to hob and cooker operation would have been useful.

  • "Very nice place!"

Extremely tidy, modern and spacious! We used the property as a place to stay while we climbed snowdon and other surrounding areas so didn’t spend much time inside however the place is spotless without many faults at all. If I was to give feedback on possible improvements I would say these few things. - Leave a couple of dishwasher tablets for people to use if needed - Locks on the doors could do with some WD40/Grease, I have Ultion locks at home so have to do the same as they were a little stiff. - Maybe think about putting an outside socket for EV’s. This would just be a nice feature but not detrimental as we were able to charge at the Morrisons down the road Overall 9.5/10 place and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

  • "It was a lovely apartment, great location, spotlessly clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay."

Wouldn't recommend for dog owners or those with small children though as all sets of patio doors lead onto a garden or the balcony that aren't blocked off (it's on a very busy road) and means when it's roasting there's no way of getting air into the living room or kitchen. Also Sykes had sent us the code for the key safe 2 weeks before we actually visited which hadn't changed when we got there - so keep the keys with you at all times!

The only niggle was the noise from others upstairs that travelled… a reminder about others would be amazing Others can not come more highly recommended and we had the best week
