  • "Very enjoyable stay, position of house perfect (what a view)."

Small niggles outside light to courtyard and drive way wasn’t working, side light in master bedroom faulty. We thought house would benefit from a bigger fridge freezer. We would return if available, fantastic week had by all

  • "A very spacious, light and airy property in a lovely location."

Very quiet at night, hardly heard a car after 9pm. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and extra blankets should you need them. Very well equipped, only slight negative was the coffee machine which doesn't take standard size nespresso capsules. Would like to suggest to Sykes that when a coffee machine is listed, it should say what type of capsules are needed. Just a few minus points, the freezer was very iced up making it hard to pull the drawers out, but as we had a very rainy first morning, I defrosted it. Shower mat in master en suite was not clean, lots of black mould. I tried a bleach solution but no improvement so it needs replacing. Quite a few light bulbs not working and there were no black dustbin bags. Overall this was an excellent property and one I would be more than happy to book again, but sadly I understand it won't be available after this season.

Clean and well maintained. Sat out the front looking at the beach on the wooden table and chairs. Would definitely stay again.

A spacious property.Very well equipped with comfy beds and excellent showers . The sea views are spectacular from most windows. We would love to return next year but seem unable to book? Is this property still for rent in August 2025 ??

  • "Another nice stay at the Sheraton however, there were no spare bin bags available so had to purchase."

Noticed that water had stained the ceiling and water had run down the wall from the upstairs shower. Fortunately as there was only two of us we did not use the upstairs shower. It needs to be make clear that the Coffee machine is of the coffee pod type so that visitors are aware. Nevertheless the Sheraton is a wonderful place to stay in Llandudno.

  • "This was our third summer break at Sheraton and it was as wonderful as usual."

The addition of the fenced in area out of the back door meant we could let our little dog out safely without supervising him. The rooms, bathrooms etc were clean, spacious and as comfortable as always, a real home from home. Unfortunately I heard from the owners that moving forward the house will no longer be available as they are remodelling it and will be making it their permanent home. We shall miss our time spent there, but are excited for you both in your new venture and wish you lots of happiness.

  • "We loved our stay at 'Sheraton' and have liaised direct with the property owner."

My experience at trying to contact Sykes Cottages was however very poor. Why can't you make it as easy as AirBnB is to liaise with queries about the property? I eventually managed to get a message through to someone from Sykes to request twin link bed be made up as singles, but if this message got through to the cleaning staff, it was not acted upon. Fortunately the 2 people sharing that room where mother and daughter and were reasonably ok to share a bed.

A wonderful home from home property, you enter relax mode the moment you go inside. Position is perfect with the beach just across the road and lovely sea views. Thank you for the goodies. The Beach Cafe just a short walk from the house do excellent breakfasts and cakes to take away. If you like a peaceful and quiet holiday to unwind then Sheraton is the house for you. The house was spotless on arrival and all the beds are a good size and very comfortable. The side tables in the snug room are a welcome addition this year, we use this room a lot whilst there. Thank you Bob & Pam for sharing Sheraton with visitors. Till next year, Sue, John and family and Henry the dog.

  • "Our third time of staying at The Sheraton."

Owner’s response to a minor issue we had was excellent. The accommodation is outstanding and the owners had even managed to improve it since our last stay; making a courtyard by building a fence, and adding a coffee machine. Llandudno is a beautiful town with all the facilities you’d need. The West Shore is quieter than Llandudno itself and has amazing views out at Anglesey and the Great Orme. We hope to be back for a fourth stay next year.

Pet friendly. Excellent location. Spotlessly clean and very pleasant decor. The owners take great care of the property and as a dog owner, we hope we have demonstrated we have left the place tidy and clean. The property is first class as is everything about it. • "Sheraton is a clean, well provided and nicely located on the sea front with excellent views."

There is a nice cafe two hundred yards one way and the same distance the other way is a mini supermarket which provides all the necessary essentials. A walk to the town centre is only a twenty minute steady walk via the nearby cricket pitch. I can clearly understand the previous reviews as the Sheraton is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The owners are very helpful should there be any problems and the welcome pack is very informative.

We found it warm, spacious and welcoming. The extra space, such as the utility room was much valued by our party of 6 adults and two dogs. Within comfortable walking distance is the Great Orme and the town centre. A five minute walk away there is a pub that also does great food. We had lunch there one day and went back on our last night for an evening meal. Thank you Bob and Pam for creating such a lovely place, and for the welcome pack.

Had some spectacular stormy seas we could watch while being nice and toasty inside. The Christmas tree and decorations were lovely and the welcome pack was super, thank you Pam. The location is perfect for short local walks and quieter than the east coast although only a 15 minute walk to the pier, attractions and shops. The layout was ideal for us, really suited mum who has mobility needs, walk in shower and loos higher than standard. Kitchen very well equipped, beds really comfortable and towels big and fluffy. We look forward to returning in the future.

  • "Excellent property!"

New fence and gate at the rear of property is a worthwhile addition. Rooms are all as we found on our previous visit - decoratively very good. Would benefit by installing a reading lamp and small table alongside the sofa in the dining room. The seat cushion filling on the sofas in the lounge feel like they need replacement (although still reasonably comfortable, could be better). In the kitchen, needs are a bread knife and a pair of kitchen tongs. The new Nespresso unit is an excellent addition. Looking forward to another visit.

Thank you for your feedback which was appreciated. Bread knife and kitchen tongues replaced immediately. We now have a nest of two sturdy tables by the dining room sofa on top of which stands an adjustable reading light. A good addition as winter days get shorter. Glad you enjoyed the coffee machine. • "The property was lovely and very clean and in a very nice setting with almost everything needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay, the only point I would make would be about the upstairs bedroom only having blinds but no curtains, my daughter and son in law slept there and found the room became light very early in the morning and one meal we started to make had a couple of tins which required a tin opener but try as we may we were unable to find one."

However we still enjoyed our stay at Sheraton, andbwould happily stay there again

Thank you for your feedback. After you left you said there was no tin opener. I went quickly to the house to give the next guest a tin opener. If you had given us a call we would have responded immediately. Sometimes small objects are removed in error if they have been taken to the beach and left in a basket. We understand and are sorry that the blinds were not adequate. We will monitor this. Curtains are not always a good choice as the windows are dormers, small and curtains by the bed could be easily pulled down, needing ongoing repairs. We hope to see you again. The final king-size bedroom can be found on the first floor, fitted with an en-suite shower to help avoid those morning queues along with a cosy seating area to enjoy soaking in the views with a steaming cup of coffee ahead of a new day.

Keen putters will have found their haven, with a wealth of fantastic golfing opportunities available, including Conwy Golf Club, hosts to the Curtis Cup 2021, and the North Wales Golf Club and the 18-hole championship Maesdu Golf Club, each one boasting superb views and a fantastic setting for testing out your clubs.

Further golfing opportunities can be found in the resort of Rhos on Sea, with two excellent golf clubs offering impressive sea views.

With the property located on a convenient bus route, explore the area.

Avid outdoor adventurers will delight with a visit to Snowdonia National Park, home to walking, cycling and hiking routes to suit all abilities, where the climb to the summit of Mount Snowdon and the zip-wire hidden amongst the caverns deep below the rolling landscape are reserved for thrill seekers.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
