  • "In an excellent position right in the centre of Nefyn."

Groceries, a wonderful community pub, a takeaway and a hotel where you can have Sunday Lunch or watch the football are all right on your doorstep and Pwllheli is only a 10 minute drive away (you can also get multiple buses) if you want bigger shops. Parking outside the property was not as problematic as we thought it might be (even in August!) but there is plenty of on-street and free public car parking available anyway. The wonderful beach is a 5 minute walk away (steep hill but some parking if you need it) and the beach hut is fantastic! House and beach hut is well equipped - we were a party of 7 adults, 2 babies under 2 and 2 dogs and there was more than enough of everything we would need and plenty of space. Jerome is a fantastic host and answered our texts very quickly when we managed to accidentally switch off the electrics! We loved it here - everyone is really friendly (visit the Maritime museum, its only a 2 minute walk away and the people who volunteer there are lovely!) and you couldnt be in a better place to explore the Llŷn Peninsula!!

The Beach Hut was brilliant to store all our beach gear. Highly recommended!

  • "A beautiful high tech house."

Loved owners WhatsApp messages how to operate things. Had a v v comfortable stay there. Cleaners need to up game dusting the patio sitting area and supplying toilet paper. We sorted all out. But house is wonderful and convenient. Parking in Nefyn is always a problem but we always found places. We would return.

  • "Lovely property perfect for our family trip with 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs."

( NB brilliant terrace to sit out but no grass) Plenty of room to eat and relax. Good communication with the owner . Great location to explore the area but can walk to local beach, pub and shop. No designated parking space but we had no problems - Loved it!

  • "What a lovely property!"

There’s plenty of space for guests and dogs alike (we are a 3 generational family plus a Labrador). The house is very well equipped with everything you might think you need. There was even a Welsh tea bread and some basic provisions left for our arrival. What a welcome! Well stocked local shops and it is within easy walking distance to the beautiful beach and a lovely little beach cafe/bakery. Nice walks on the doorstep. It was lovely to speak to the owner, Jerome. We will happily book this house again.

  • "We had the pleasure of staying at Brigwyn over the Easter holidays and have no hesitation in recommending it."

Three generations of us stayed and we found the house to be very comfortable - more than enough space downstairs to cook and come together but a brilliant space on the top floor for a teenager retreat when they got bored of the grown ups. The house is very well finished with comfy beds, excellent showers and good quality bed linen and towels. The kitchen was sensibly stocked with everything you might need, including some kitchen basics like oil and seasonings. The outdoor area was lovely, especially the top patio, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to use it as much as we hoped. Jerome, the owner, sent us some really helpful videos about heating etc, along with recommending the lovely cafe by the Spar for breakfast. Final point - we were a bit worried about the on street parking as we brought two cars but had no problems whatsoever. We were even able to park right outside the door for loading up on leaving day!

  • "A truly beautiful property in a beautiful part of the world."

The property has been finished to an impeccable standard. There is everything you need. Stunning mountain and sea views at the rear. We stayed end of august 2023 - comfortably houses 6 adults and 2 children. Gorgeous coastal walks. Suitable for toddlers (we had a 2yr old). Perfect for dogs and a lovely warm home perfect to wind down in the evenings. A short drive from Abersoch and Aberdaran - highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back - thank you for making our holiday truly memorable.

  • "This is a fantastic house in a great location close to the beach and the facilities in Nefyn."

The owner Jerome was extremely helpful and contacted us with very useful information on the house before we arrived and was available to message with any questions. The house was clean and bright and extremely well laid out and the terrace garden at the back was brilliant with a lovely sea view and being a sun trap. There was also the great bonus of having a beach hut on Nefyn beach which we used a lot. We had a marvellous stay at Brigwyn and will definitely be recommending it to family and friends. Thanks Jerome for being a great host!

  • "We loved our stay in Brigwyn, the facilities are excellent and it was spotlessly clean."

We felt Nefyn to be a welcoming village, with a great pub opposite and an excellent balti restaurant just up the road. The scenery/walks are amazing and the beach is perfect, we also got good use out of the beach hut. We'll definitely be returning.

Thanks Rachel for your review, glad you had a lovely time and loved Nefyn. Hope to see you back again in the near future. Property Owner

  • "Nice newly refurbished property in the heart of Nefyn."

Nice bedrooms and really nice bathrooms, plenty of space for all 9 of us (7adults and 2 children). A few unfinished aspects to the property when we were there (top floor) but I'm sure it'll be complete for the next renters. The owner was good with communications and always made sure that any questions were answered promptly. Just a personal preference we just wished there was a little bit of space in the kitchen to put food etc in cupboards, but we say that about all rental properties as all the cupboards are generally full of utensils, pans etc. We ended up keeping dry food in our own storage boxes on the floor, but out of the way. We struggled with parking, however this was mainly due to the eisteddford being held on the same week, 3 miles away. We have been to Nefyn many times and have never seen it so busy before so it's definitely because of this exceptional festival. Loved the outside area and the raised patio at the rear of the property.

Thanks Anthony for your review. Glad you had a lovely time at Brigwyn,. We will take on board the pointers you have noted and address. The parking was hectic due to the festival, its only in this area once every 20 plus years. Hope to see you back soon. Take care Jill Doyle Property Owner

  • "Lovely accommodation, beds and bedding clean and comfortable, nice decor, homely feel, extremely well stocked kitchen with all utensils etc that we would require."

Outside area well designed for the space, lovely views from the top terrace. Really wonderful location and 10 minutes walk from a lovely beach, beach hut was an added bonus that we got lots of use out of. Only suggestion for improvement would be locks on bathroom doors and maybe extra foldaway chairs for the dining table.

Thanks Angela for your review, glad you had such a lovely time. Yes any suggestions much appreciated. We are new to the holiday home rental market so we will take on board any tips. All this work is now completed, joiner back 11th August and locks on doors etc. X Property Owner
