"The church is a lovely property, very well positioned and comfortable."
Property is well equipped for self catering. We stayed a week for walking the coast and could not have picked a better place, quiet, clean and very quirky with private parking and outside space. Highly recommended.

Everything we needed for a really enjoyable weeks stay in this beautiful part of the world.

"A magical place to stay."
Full of history, but comfortable and equipped with all modern conveniences. Great location, with the beach and countryside within easy reach, plus loads of wildlife to watch and the charm of the countryside.

"Our stay at Eglwys St Cynfil was wonderful and relaxing."
An incredibly peaceful place to stay and unwind You could hear a pin drop in the evenings. The church is light, bright, airy and wonderfully decorated with plenty of character with exposed beams. Lovely and clean, stocked with Fresh linen and fluffy towels. Our girls, 13 & 15yrs, were not looking forward to sharing a bedroom with each other however, spent every night laughing and giggling until they fell asleep and said they had “the best time “! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and outside a bbq with huge table and bench seating. So many rabbits! which were very entertaining. We really liked The history of the church and the very old headstones. The renovation photo album was also interesting to see. Thank you both for a wonderful place to stay. Tim, Debbie, Lucy & Chloe

"How often can you say you have stayed in a 200 year old church for your holiday, surrounded by graves dating back to 1736."
Wonderful location, peaceful, tranquil with beautiful views. Great conversion and worth the long journey. If you don't like rabbits or the occasional spider it's not for you. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again.
-
"Another fantastic week at this beautiful chapel."
A stunning and convenient location, with excellent restaurants and pubs only a short drive away and the coastal path just a short walk through fields. Really enjoyed watching the resident rabbits in the churchyard, as well as seeing buzzards, kites, and other wildlife go by.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property is light and airy with lovely views."
You can tell that a lot of time and thought went into the conversion of the chapel and I would recommend a stay here.

"Lovely place to stay."
Beds and bedding lovely, comfortable and clean. Would love to return. Just a couple of niggles, the kitchen was not very clean, the cooker hood was greasy and the bread bin hadn’t been cleaned out. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders throughout the building although I realise that it is an old stone building. The internet was poor as was the TV reception, you couldn’t watch much of a programme before it started to pixelate. We absolutely loved all the wild rabbits though. Would recommend this cottage.

"Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting."

"This is a beautiful place to stay."
The conversion is amazing and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed watching the rabbits and checking out the gravestones. The only downside from my perspective is that I am a light sleeper so I was disturbed by car headlights on the road, I solved this by draping a blanket over the balcony. It is not practical to do anything about this due to the open-plan nature of the interior, but I thought it worth mentioning as my solution could be shared with other visitors who experience the problem.

"Beautiful property, great location and facilities, everything we hoped for and a rural setting minutes from the sea."

"Wonderful Chapel Cottage."
Location, location, location made our stay so perfect. Inside the owners certainly considered the history of the chapel, yet managed to bring a modern mix with the old. Very clean in every detail. Wild life looking through the spotless windows was a joy, even seeing a white rabbit amongst the usual grey ones. Nothing was in short supply inside with plenty of utensils in the kitchen. The lounge was comfortable to relax in. Bath room downstairs was spotless. Upstairs again perfect. The main bedroom overlooking the downstairs lounge was clever, giving an air of space and contentment. Just off the small landing is located the second bedroom, smaller, but with a porthole window which we imagine used to have a clock and now put to excellent use. So although the gravestones in the gardens greet you, let this not question you about your stay here. You will miss a wonderful chance to stay in a perfect cottage.

"This was the nicest rental property we’ve stayed in!"
Fabulous location, beautiful conversion, really well equipped, spotlessly clean. This is a great base for exploring the Llyn peninsula, spitting distance from Llanbedrog beach, close to Pwllheli and Abersoch. Really cosy and private. We absolutely loved it and fully intend to go back! 5 stars!
-
"A beautiful converted chapel that made for a comfortable, cosy, and well-equipped base from which to explore the local area."
Beautiful surroundings and such a peaceful place to stay - we spent many hours just watching the local wildlife and enjoying the cosy atmosphere of the chapel. Will definitely be going back as soon as we are able.
-
"This holiday property and location is exceptional."
A very high quality property in a unique setting with access to the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and it's gorgeous beaches and pretty towns and villages.

"Highly recommended, wonderful location, fabulous place to stay"

"I was very slightly disappointed by how dusty the church was."
The TVand DVD player had weeks of dust on it with fingerprints in the dust, the corners of the rooms were dusty with lots of cobwebs, and the fridge was very dirty with remnants of food, dried on spilt milk and a pungent smell. After a deep clean of the fridge, a dust around and the corners of the room swept the church was perfect. Half hour of my time to make it a wonderful place to stay. It was very homely and comfortable with all mod cons. The bed was very comfortable but could do with blinds on the windows as the light woke me around 4.30 every morning. There were quite a few rabbits which was cute to see every day. I loved the place. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back despite being visited by something in the cupboard next to the washing machine eating away at my food. Lol A welcomed break in a quirky place made it a brilliant get away which was thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you

"We stayed at this accommodation after an overseas trip was cancelled."
It was a most worthy replacement. Some excellent coastal walks in the area and coming back to the comfort of this place was a real bonus. The church has been converted to a very high standard and was both warm and welcoming. Really, we could not find anything amiss.

"The converted church was fabulous and very quirky, we loved it."
-
"What a charming little church to stay in, with plenty of character but very modern interior."
Had a wonderful stay, even though the weather wasn't the greatest.
-
"Accommodation is private, peaceful, well equipped and comfortable."
Loved watching the rabbits in the fields around the church. The coastal path is stunning and we had a great time on the beach at Hell’s Mouth - super surfing!
-
"Really good base to explore the Llyn Peninsula - description & photos show everything the church has to offer."
Great to see the restoration photos to bring the church back to life - Owners very helpful as this was a very late booking and they have created an amazing place to stay.
-
"Church was ideally placed to access the areas of the Llyn Peninsula that we wanted to visit (coastal path walking)."
-
"This lovely little church is set in a beautiful countryside setting in the most perfect location for exploring many of North Wales fantastic beaches and historical castles and with a nice selection of places to eat out not far away."
We will definitely be returning!
-
"Need to fit blinds to the Velux windows in the mezzanine bedroom."
Without them you’re woken ridiculously early.
-
"Very quirky, different and well thought out, however would not consider suitable to sleep 6, as lounge is the 3rd bedroom, for 6 an extra bathroom would be preferred, and the whole property would be too full, and in view of this I feel the price was rather on the high side, so we will not be using the property again."
The location was great for getting out and about, great for walkers and some fantastic beaches.
-
"Lovely clean and well equipped cottage (Chapel) in a fantastic location in which to explore the local area, very well located for boat trips to small islands, historical exploration and to soak up the local culture (when the locals want to share their culture!"
) The positives out weigh any negatives, I would say small observations from regular cottage holidayers and not negatives, the chapel itself is at a high standards and the neighbours are certainly quiet. The only things that I would mention are the chapel although very well equipped for all just seemed to lack that personal welcomming touch, Hot Water was at a premium to start with but we worked that one out and the overgrown gateways made it difficult with our cars. All in all a great holiday experience, thank you

"What a beautiful converted Church in convenient location for some lovely walks and lots of places to visit near by."
-
"A very well-equipped, comfortable and unusual letting, in a great location."
Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely light through the many windows.
-
"This holiday accomodation exceeded our expectations."
The Chapel was very well appointed with all the mod cons required for a first class holiday it is also in a very quiet location with panoramic views of the surrounding area including the mountains and sea.We have been visiting the Lleyn peninsula for many years and we feel this holiday accomodation is highly recomended.

"Beautiful renovated church."
Very comfortable & spacious. Had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend it. Very peaceful.
-
"Lovely property, spacious and well equipped."
Ideal spot for exploring this beautiful part of Wales
-
"We chose to travel there, because we wanted to visit the most beautiful of Wales, to walk along the coast and in the mountains, to spend some lazy hours at the beach, to visit some of the castles that we used to know from pictures only and also to try the regional food."
We had all these things and our holidays - the first in Great Britain - were both interesting and relaxing.
-
"Had a lovely relaxing break at this beautiful converted chapel, their were plenty of lovely places to visit near by however we had terrible weather so it was a good job that the chapel was so lovely to stay in ."
We loved the graveyard which was much bigger than we thought and under the full moon with the wind blowing it became very atmospheric. June 2017

"Beautiful location, lovely to get away and spend a few days out in the open."
Fantastic as always. Looking forward to next time. A Home from Home.

"The property is stunning and in a beautiful location."
It is an excellent base to use to explore North Wales from. The church is secluded and a relaxing getaway. We were lucky with the September weather being kind to us and even managed a bbq one night. Would recommend to friends and family.
-
"This Chapel is a great place to use as a base to explore the nearby countryside and its attractions."
This is truly a unique holiday home and everything was thought of. The neighbours were quiet and did not bother us at all (graves) - the horses and sheep in the nearby fields were lovely. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would certainly re-book this unique Chapel again.
