• "Fabulous property."

  A lot of thought has gone into making it seaside themed but still remaining very comfortable. Very secure for dog . Plenty of parking. Lots of little extras that made stay so much easier. Very close to town and a nice little shop.

• "Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely bungalow."

  We took our granddaughters aged 6 and 4 and also our Corgi Everything we ever could need was in the bungalow especially Doggy Treats . The beds were especially comfy and after spending days at the beach , it was bliss to fall into bed and sleep soundly . I honestly cannot fault the property and will definitely re-book again some time soon

• "Excellent few day staying at the bungalow."

  It was spotlessly clean, lovely decor, spotlessly clean bedding and towels. Well everything you could think of was provided. The toilet seat just needed tightening up but other than that it was the best place we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed it so much we have booked up to go later in the year. Certainly is home from home ‘beautiful’ very, very pleased with our stay.

• "We had a lovely holiday with family and thinking of going back in the summer and stay again on the same property, we were happy with the location and accessibility and every basic things you need of in general (a vacuum would have helped to ease the cleaning daily especially with a baby and a toddler)."

  some cups were stained but worked for us just fine. Everything was ok only to be turned sour after 5 days of our check out but to be accused of stealing stuffs that were not there in the first place, I got a message asking for duvet covers that were missing but argued that they were not there and even sent photos of my daughters in bed without duvet covers, after providing these they still want to charge us, and now it is fitted sheet they are claiming. Since we provided photos that duvet covers were not there and accusing us we could have removed them before taking photo which is absurd and makes zero sense for us to take a photo of our daughters sleeping in bed and to remove covers because we gonna take photos? Owner is adamant to charge us for new fitted sheet and not of duvet covers that they said we took. Also fitted sheets and pillowcases were strip off and place at the bottom of the bed before we checked out as that is just normal thing to do on check out. I give 0 recommendation and if only 0 star is an option i could have given the same. It is insane to be accused of stealing duvet covers to take in your suitcases with two babies back to Dubai lol and now wanting to charge us for fitted sheet and only to be contacted after 5 days of our check out about this.

  Following the visit to our property by these guests our supplier/cleaner advised us these items were missing (quilt covers x2 and pillow cases x2), no one has mentioned fitted sheets! Our suppliers are very professional and we trust them implicitly. We have nothing else to add. Property Owner

  Was a really nice place to stay , only a couple of things it could do with , 1 is a hoover to clean the floor and not just a dust pan and brush , and the conservatory smells a bit when the doors are shut but other than that it’s a really nice place to stay

• "We had a wonderful stay in a lovely home."

  It was very comfortable and clean and was the perfect environment for my dog. The neighbourhood community was lovely. The only recommendation would be to have a hoover and mop available so that I could have cleaned daily and properly before I left but that is just a personal preference! Our time here was wonderful and we will definitely be back :)

• "Lovely stay in this super bungalow, well maintained and the beds are incredibly comfortable."

  Came as a short break for my daughters 21st birthday and was not disappointed. Only snag we found was that a gate is needed at the side of the property to make it dog secure.

• "We had a lovely stay at this well equipped and immaculately clean bungalow, it had everything we needed for a great stay."

  Great location for facilities on your doorstep and for exploring surrounding area. The only thing to suggest would be a gate on the side of the garden that leads to the drive to make the garden secure for dogs. This would make it a 10/10 for people bringing their dog.

  The bungalow was ideal. She could move from room to room easily. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was very spacious and clean. The conservatory was a lovely feature and always warm. The bungalow was close to all amenities. I could not find fault if i tried. Thank you.

• "What a lovely Seaside Retreat."

  Clean, bright, comfortable, everything you need.. Great enclosed garden. Which managed to sit in as we were blessed with lovely sunshine. Quiet location, close to local shops and takeaways which we can recommend. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach and town , where you can find all the shops you need. Dog friendly pubs that serve lovely food. All in all we would recommend and will be returning in the future. Thank you for making my special birthday a very enjoyable one..

  Excellent location to everything. 10 minutes to beach, less than 5 minutes to nearest shop, 10 minutes to the retail outlet. Good selection of dog friendly pubs nearby too. We could very easily return here again.

• "Nice house, well situated and ideal for a few days with the dog."

  It is only a short drive to the amazing beaches and has a Co-Op and good restaurants within walking distance. The house was comfortable and spacious, with nice furniture and we had a nice time. Only draw back was a bit of a lack of kitchen items such as baking trays, salt in the cupboard etc, but such is life, no big deal but it would make it better to have that stuff as standard. Overall, would recommend and we'd stay there again next time we fancy a few days in that neck of the woods.

• "Absolutely fantastic retreat and getaway!"

  Myself and my boyfriend stayed at ‘The Seaside Retreat’ over the New Year for his birthday surprise. It’s fair to say the property was absolutely fantastic! It was immaculate and everything we wanted was to hand. The rooms are a good size and the main bedroom is huge so you never feel ‘on top of each other’. With just a short walk to the beach (map in booklet given at property) we had lovely walks along the promenade. Local pubs and restaurants were also just around the corner. I parked my car up in the drive way when we arrived and didn’t use it again until we left, it was brilliant. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to bring my In-Laws in June!

• "The heating was no where near adequate for a property of that size, it says you can use the heating when needed out of the timer period but this wasn’t the case every time I tried to do it it wouldn’t work."

  It’s far too long from 10.00am to go to 5.00pm without heating in winter. Really disappointed Xmas.

  Very sorry to read your feedback. You will see from the many previous bookings no one has ever raised this as an issue before. The property is fitted with a brand new boiler and remote control system commissioned 29/09/2022. I will investigate your claims to see if something was preventing the heating from coming on. We have provided clear instructions of how to operate the heating system. Either during the timer period and all other times by simply pressing the (up +) button, the boiler should respond and heat the property to the desired temperature. So sorry you had a disappointing Xmas Property Owner

• "Fantastic property in a great location close to local amenities."

  The only thing I would mention is it would have been nice to have an outside light in the garden area or conservatory as we had nice weather and wanted to sit in there in the evening

  Stayed 1night instead of the 3 booked the road was a main thoroughfare and traffic noise started at 6am it certainly wasn’t paces from the beach the bedding in the main bedroom was brand new very rough and scratchy it had not been washed I knew it was new because the packaging was still in the dustbin as I placed what little rubbish we had I did e-mail you to let you know how disappointed we were tried to phone but must have had a signalling problem as when did get to speak to somebody was cut off
