  • "The lodge was very clean and had everything you needed for cooking tv shower and much more."

Only thing I'd recommend is a standing lamp in the living room area. Bed was comfy also. Highly recommend and go again in the future.

  • "The lodge was absolutely beautiful."

Was very well thought out even down to the little details of leaving a jug of milk in the fridge and other little bits. Lodge was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Park was lovely, nice quiet area. The restaurant and spa was amazing. Staff lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

This is the 3rd time we have been to lodge 4 this year and it was so quiet and peaceful with no kids allowed on site and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a peaceful relaxing time and it’s only about 5 miles from Rhyl town centre and I will be staying there again soon from Mr & Mrs Harris from Birmingham

  • "We were put in lodge 3 not lodge 4 , the girl who checked us in didn’t know why but lodge 3 was nice ."

We did find ear plug under bed , an old milk bottle top on fridge door, sticky cereal bowl with dry cornflakes on and a baby’s dummy!!!! Even though it’s adult only site , we didn’t find them all at once just different times of the holiday so we let them go because in general the lodge seemed clean, it was only when we got home and started to think what had happened. We don’t normally complain because mistakes happen but just seemed a lot .

About the location

ST ASAPH

Denbigh 6 miles; Chester 28 miles.

St Asaph, though small, was awarded city status in 2012, even though it boasts a population of little over 3500 occupants. Lying in the Vale of Clwyd, six miles between Denbigh and the coastal town of Rhyl, in North Wales, St Asaph enjoys a strategic location overlooking the rivers Clwyd and Elwy. The city offers delightful riverside parkland and a children’s play area with picturesque river walks where you may see kingfishers, sparrow hawks and buzzards. St Asaph is home to a historic cathedral, dating back 1400 years in areas and holding the reputation of being the smallest, ancient cathedral in Britain. It is also renowned as the location where the Bible was translated into Welsh in the 16th century. In September, the city comes alive with the arrival of the North Wales International Music festival, which takes place across numerous locations, culminating for the last few years in a television finale, broadcast from the cathedral. St Asaph offers numerous amenities and activities, from traditional pubs, to gastronomic dining experiences, numerous craft and gift shops and local clubs offering a 9-hole golf course, horse riding, angling, and crown green bowling, as well as a thriving leisure centre and the Tweedmill Retail Outlet. A superb holiday location for exploring this picturesque area of North Wales.
