Lots of lovely walks around the village. Quite and peaceful for the majority of the time. I’m ok with farm noises, my family were not. This next comment comes from experience. I ran my own bed and breakfast for 16 years. The cottage would benefit from a deep clean and flowers in the tubs next season, I believe that this would take it to the next level , splendid! Exceptionally clean everywhere (aside from the microwave which we didn't use anyway) and tastefully furnished throughout. It is spacious and there is plenty of outdoor space for the dog which is enclosed. There is parking right outside the front door which is convenient. The wifi was great and they left a really lovely welcome hamper for our arrival. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Even though it is a working farm it was generally always really quiet. You can walk into the village where there is a small shop and a few nice dog walks. Kitchen is a good size with good storage. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and a decent size. The log burner was just perfect for those cold days. It was really nice to have access to outdoor space from the main bedroom via the patio door. The property is very private and the owners although nearby gave us our privacy. Acton Burnell Castle is a short walk away and well worth a visit.
