  • "We had a great stay in Swallows nest."

The studio apartment is located in a lovely farm, well looked after. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay and its location is fantastic for sightseeing the Peak District. I would recommend this place for a couple. Katy and her family were really accommodating, they even made sure the sheep weren't too loud in the morning which I found hilarious. If you stay here you definitely have to try their hand made ice creams - they are the best in town!

  • "We had a lovely peaceful relaxing stay at the busiest time of the summer holidays."

The public areas of the farm are interesting, and available to us at all times We didn't realize that 'studio-style' meant the bedroom lounge dining and kitchen are all the same space, but we still felt we had good value for money.

  • "Lovely stay."

It was very hot while we were there so had breakfast on the patio of ice-cream cafe just round the back of the apartment facing the lovely view of the countryside. The owners were very kind and offered a voucher for a free ice-cream of our choice all handmade. Fantastic. It is a working farm and we found out how many long hours and hard work goes into the upkeep of there business. We found it very interesting. A great place for families to visit for the morning or afternoon as they have a nature trail around the farm with the opportunity to look at goats, sheep, chickens, at close quarters. They have also a pottery workshop where you can book to paint a pot. We will return, as there are several more walks around the area where we would like to go. Thank you for a great few days.
