  • "Wow when we arrived."

Outside and inside is as pictured on the website. Its a new site and the attention to detail is exceptional. A lot of love and thought has been put into the design and furnishings. We were a party of 7 (2 couples and 3 singles) and the accommodation was just right. All bedrooms are en-suite with large beds and comfortable matresses. We were lucky with the weather (early March) and breakfast with bi-fold doors open was ever relaxing. Kitchen fully appointed as you would expect. Instructions were clear and concise particularly with regard to waste and recycling. We did not use the wood burning stoves as the ground underfloor heating and radiators in the bedrooms were more than adequate. The Royal Oak is a small local that is closed on Monday and serves food only Wednesday to Sunday lunchtime. If I would make a couple of points about the switches and WiFi. There are a lot of light switches downstairs for interior and exterior lighting and even though they are labeled it can still be confusing. Also, the WiFi distribution about the property is not consistant. For my iPhone on latest OS I could not get a signal at ground level. In this area there is no normal phone signal so WiFi is essential. The two TVs would not connect to the WiFI. But all in all, it was a warm, comfortable and quiet place to spend a family gathering to celebrate a special birthday.

  • "Beautiful cottage in a quiet location - within easy reach of Church Stretton."

It was the perfect place for 10 of us to welcome in the New Year. The owners were on hand to deal with a couple of small issues that arose - they couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay again!

  • "Grove Farm is beautifully appointed and a very comfortable property."

It has a lovely homely feel and was perfect for a family get together. The owners came to introduce themselves who were lovely, informative and very helpful. I highly recommend this property and we will be returning again, hopefully next year!

  • "This is a beautiful property and so spacious."

We absolutely loved it. It was also spotless. All the rooms are lovely. The house is so warm especially with the log fire. The owner checked in on us and was very friendly. They also left us a cake too which was lovely (thanks!). My daughter and I went for a walk around the countryside and the views were stunning. Definitely recommend.
