  • "A very well equipped bungalow, that was clean and warm (which was just as well as the starter pack for the wood burner was insufficient to have lit any sort of fire)."

Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Good location for the coastal path and a friendly local pub with good beer.

Shame about the spiders and numerous cobwebs. Very comfortable bed (a bonus) uncomfortable settee (unfortunate).

Warm clean well equipped cottage. Good information pack to help with any questions. Great garden if you take your dog. If you like walking this is a great base location. Recommend the Ship pub, the Sloop and the Shed restaurant.

  • "Chalfonts, us a nice property, good location, very close to the Pembrokeshire coast path, with great walks to Porthgain, Abercastle and beyond."

The cottage has generally everything required. It's not a criticism but an ironing board would be useful, more clothes hanging space or wardrobe and a plastic spatula as it's difficult to get eggs out of frying pan with the wooden ones provided. But throughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "It’s is a really lovely light, clean, well appointed cottage with excellent equipment in kitchen."

Beds really comfortable but settee not quite so comfortable. Plenty of room for the 2 of us and our Springer Spaniel who loved the garden and enjoyed running around it. Plenty of hot water and a nice shower. It was good to have off road parking as the road in the village is quite narrow. It was great to be very near the coast and Trefin is a very pretty village. Good instructions for recycling etc. the only query which needs clarification is that in the instructions online re time of vacating the cottage are different from those in the welcome manual in the cottage. Online says the cottage is to be vacated by 9.30am on the day of departure, but the cottage manual says 10am. Would definitely consider staying again if we visit N Pembrokeshire.

We rarely feel that we would return to a property but this cottage is the exception. The bed and sofa were both very comfortable. It might be useful to have a non slip mat to put in the bath when having a shower.

Lovely decor, fabulous shower, really comfy beds, no need to use the log burner as it was warm enough even in March. We couldn’t find any recycling containers outside the property only the black bin. We didn’t know the bin collection day so we missed it.

Enjoyed ourselves. Only problem which was also mentioned in the visitors book - two vents on the side wall (one for the kitchen extractor and the other from the bathroom) make a loud banging noise when a strong wind is blowing. This happened on the first night and kept us awake off and on.

  • "A lovely bungalow."

We had an elderly relative with us, so the cottage/access was excellent for her to get around (mobility issues). A large back garden for the dog to run around (just a pity we chose a poor week for weather). The village is small but only a few miles from St Davids, there's also a busy village pub and cafe on your doorstep.

  • "Excellent location."

Very clean. Comfy beds. Well equipped. We thought more could have been made of the garden. The furniture was solid and comfortable but it was hard to sit and enjoy the view towards the sea because of the height of the bushes and the wall at the back. That apart, we were very pleased with our stay at the property.

  • "The holiday was great !"

The cottage / bungalow was as described and lovely ! Some tiny constructive criticism: if the metal gate was two hinged gates it would be easier to get two cars on the drive and close the gate. Better recycling is needed rather than put most stuff in the general waste ( I used spa’s recycling bins which I later found out was supposed to be for the shop only) and the large bed was very hard ....a memory foam topper would solve it ! Hope that all helps !
