  • "General cleanliness adequate ."

The vacuum cleaner needs attention - sent out more dirt than it sucked up! A shower mat would preferable for a sure footing. The directions to the property would benefit from a starting point - rather than relying on customers relying on a map/Sat nav! Very misleading when read in isolation!!

Sorry you didn't like the hoover. We've ordered a new one. We hadn't noticed that the shower mat was missing so have also ordered one of those. Apologies for this minor issue. We are of course only a phone call away to sort out minor problems such as these. Sorry the directions weren't to your liking if you had got in touch at the time we could have directed you over the phone. The directions were written for us by Sykes and have not been an issue to date for previous guests - most people have a satnav or at least a map these days. Most of our feedback recently has been 5* so it's disappointing that you have come up with a score of just 2.8* as a result of an issue with the hoover or being able to follow the directions provided Thanks, Matthew, Sarah and team. • "In general - this was a very nice barn conversion to stay in - warm, comfortable with all the necessary facilities one could want and expect in a wonderful part of Wales."

We stayed in December and a wood burner would have been a really nice addition - that said the heating was very good and we were never cold. If I had to be picky - I would say the wash up area was not thought out and was not easy to use. Also the washing machine was one its last legs and sounded like a rocket. Other than these small issues this would have been five stars across the board.

Good to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Y Felin. Sorry the sink wasn't to your liking, there is a dishwasher in the kitchen that most people prefer to use. Sorry about the washing machine - we were unaware of this and have now replaced it. Hope to see you again soon. Matthew, Sarah and team. Property Owner

Just one thing , it was fine for us as we were only 4 but think you might struggle with just one bathroom for 8. Very comfortable accommodation and all facilities good. Thank you

  • "Three generations enjoyed the holiday home together."

The layout gave us the opportunity to be either all together or have our own separate space if needed. The grandchildren soon commandeered the raised mezzanine sitting area to watch tv. We found Y Felin to be a very well equipping home from home. Comfortable beds and bedding, spotlessly clean throughout, wonderful , approachable owners on hand to solve any queries very quickly. The treats waiting for us on arrival made us all feel really welcome, thank you. We all loved our holiday at Y Felin. The private, safe and well fenced garden was a lovely space to relax or play in and enjoy the hot tub. Plenty of room to park our cars easily. It was amazing thank you.
