  • "We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage."

It had everything you need and was spotlessly clean. It is in a great location to enjoy exploring Laugharne and further afield and there are some great places to eat. The garden is pretty and secure if you are bringing a dog. Mr & Mrs Evan were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you.

It was very comfortable and located in a very pleasant friendly village with access to not only the coast and walks but main centres for visits and culture. Although we did not meet them the hosts were very friendly and considerate in their text and email contacts. Hope to return at some point.

Everything you could want was provided for self catering. The garden is lovely, but future holiday makers would be well advised to bring some anti-mozzie products. The delightful owners were so kind, and travelled from their home with a second key, as our son was in and out at “odd” hours, so he could go fishing, (productive…..every fish returned to the water). I would recommend this cottage, in a quiet spot in a lovely location. Sandra and Michael Isaacs

Easy parking facilities were an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Laugharne, a lovely small town/village and gave us a good base for walking sections of the Coastal path.

The owners are a lovely couple who droppeed into welcome us on our arrival. The garden is ideal for dogs being fully enclosed. We found the cottage to be far more spacious than we expected. Will certainly return here maybe later this year.

  • "We had a fantastic time at Horsepool Lane in Laugharne."

Well equipped cute cottage with pretty secure garden and very cosy. Parking just over the road and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, castle and Dylan Thomas's boat house and writing shed. Would have given full marks but the double bed mattress was too soft for my personal preference. However, it didn't put me off and I'd happily book again. Fantastic break.

  • "The cottage was fabulous and extremely well equipped - there was no need to take anything as all needs are catered for."

The garden is a very good size and is enclosed which was great for our dogs. We were also able to use the patio area on numerous occasions due to the fact that the weather was okay. The parking arrangements were not an issue as it is only across the road in the Church car park. The location of the cottage is only approximately 8 minutes away from the main town which is quieter at the beginning of the week but didn't cause a problem as we went further afield during this time. The owners are helpful and the welcome pack was extremely thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend (and return to) this cottage and Sykes.

  • "Comfortable cozy cottage."

Lovely welcome from the owners. Great enclosed garden, which was a must with our dog who can jump fences. Very well equipped kitchen, if you want to cook. The village is only a few minutes walk-quieter at the beginning of the week and so fewer places to eat out in the evenings then. Busier towards the end of the week. Laid back sort of place, ideal to wind down. Dylan Thomas's boathouse and favourite pub are the main attractions, and both worth a visit! Good base to explore the surrounding areas.

The Garden was a real plus - the photos don't do it justice ! Lovely to sit out at any time of the day. We were a little concerned about the parking arrangements but this was fine, we had no problems at all. The owners were very attentive but not intrusive, very happy to help out and explain the quirks of the oven and washing machine !
