  • "We had a lovely stay, the bungalow was clean and comfortable, and our little paws enjoyed her holiday too"

  • "This was a lovely bungalow, it is not in it's first flush of youth but the kitchen and bathroom are good and the garden is lovely for our little dog."

The owner came straight down when we had a problem with the heating, and was so helpful. It's only small drawback is that my precious car had to sit out on the road with large tractors passing close by, I had not realised the road outside would be so narrow. My car did survive, so no problem.

  • "There was an issue with the shower screen hanging off, which was dangerous and limited use."

We contacted the owner who did a temporary fix, but it was still dangerous.

The shower door was fixed as soon as the parts arrived and is now good as new Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay."

The bungalow was bigger than expected and well equipped. It was clean and the kitchen looked new and fresh. The bathroom was a little shabby but nothing that a lick of paint and new flooring wouldn't sort. We had booked for 4 people but only 3 beds were made up, but that was fine as we located bedding in the cupboard and sorted ourselves out. The garden was nice and big. Great location and we will be back! Thank you.

  • "It is a lovely property and bigger than we imagined."

The property could do with some updating and with two small children we were worried about piles of rubble and old wire fence that was left around the garden. I felt the children couldn’t access the garden as safely as we hoped. Apart from that the property was clean and lots of facilities. Thank you

The gardens have gone through a total revamp and are now hopefully user friendly. Property Owner

  • "The property was clean and comfortable, but rather dated and tired."

Hot water supply was unreliable but shower ok. The garden area, though grass was cut was over grown in places, the wooden fencing partly missing and a blue tarpaulin inadequately covering weeds and nettles. The garden furniture is old and in need of a makeover. Also when we first arrived the previous holiday makers rubbish had not been put out. We contacted the owner about the rubbish. He said it should have been put out by the cleaners. He was understanding about a breakage which occurred when we were there. We had a nice holiday, but feel it could have been made better by some improvements as noted above.

  • "The kitchen is well appointed."

The rest of the bungalow needs a complete refurbishment. Banging the pump several times a day to get hot water is a nuisance, and needs fixing. No hairdryer; only one loo roll. The double bed is comfortable. The location is quiet and convenient to get to various places of interest.

  • "Well equipped bungalow with everything you may need, quiet location near beautiful coast!"

Nice modern cooker and every utensil spotlessly clean, comfy bed and lounge. Only minor gripe was the window exteriors could have done with a clean, but would definitely recommend!
