  • "Firstly, we found the lodge absolutely charming."

Also all main destinations were within easy reach. Unfortunately for us, being in our mid 70's, the stairs were a problem. When I booked the property, there was no mention of how steep the stairs were. It came as quite a shock when we entered the property. In this present climate I think the stairs could possibly pose a health & safety issue Having said all that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "After receiving a phone call regarding the late entry time I did expect the cleaner had time to clean throughout."

We arrived after 5 pm as requested due to an issue with the cleaner. After a 6 hour drive we were keen to get in having 2 young children in our party. All beds were clean also bathrooms , Kitchen was Ok. All other areas were really dusty and the house was full of cobwebs, I live in an old cottage so know cobwebs can be an issue, but the cleaner had just been in ! We had to clear brambles to make the garden safe for the children, the games room had not been looked at for weeks, dead insects all over the floor. The property is lovely but very hot(having the Aga) and noisy near the road and windows need to be open. Maybe the owner should review the cleaner they have, an unusual quirky property with so much potential. Refuse /recycle facilities not in place, we tried but had no recycle sacks. Vacuum totally fuzzed up and not maintained. We still had a lovely family holiday in beautiful Pembrokeshire.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise for the late check in and that the cleaning wasn’t up to standard. This has been addressed. The rose brambles had grown significantly over the summer months. I cut the bushes back on my following visit. The aga needs to be kept on constantly as it’s the main source of cooking and also heats the water upstairs. It can become hot in the Lodge during warm weather. The Lodge is located near a busy main road. We would love to recycle and we will be looking into how to implement this. Thanks. Property Owner

  • "Garden may not be completely safe for small dogs as some low points in the fence."

no heating in the games room. Other than these minor points, an absolutely gorgeous, cosy house in a beautiful setting with great facilities.

  • "A fantastic property in a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire."

I booked Llwyngwair Lodge for a short, Autumn break with my family and had a wonderful time. Having tired out the dog on the sands, it was time for ping-pong tournaments in the games room or enjoying the cosy, aga-warmed downstairs of the unique lodge, We will be back!

But Waw……. was it fabulous, we left card and signed visitors book. Will come again and have already notified friends whom are wanting to visit the area. Thanking the owners for such a superb holiday let, and Sykes for your 4 star web pages (having used before visiting Anglesey)

  • "We have just returned from the most amazing stay here."

There were a few issues in the lodge which the owners and maintenance team tried to rectify immediately. The owner even drove down to stay at the house in order for us to go out and enjoy the day. What a lovely lady too! The lodge had everything we would need for the stay and more, and the surrounding area is just magnificent. We cannot wait to return again. Thank you

Thank you so much for your feedback. Can’t believe two appliances broke in the same week! Apologies we couldn’t fix one during your stay, thank you for your understanding. Lovely to meet you too. So pleased you enjoyed and hope to welcome you back again soon x Property Owner
