"We had a lovely restful stay at Bryn Alaw, property has everything you could need."
Reason I have given a 4 for cleanliness is because the windows could do with a good clean inside and out, to maximise the stunning view. We had a wonderful hamper left and owner even brought us milk, which was so thoughtful.

The windows are cleaned regularly, however being a coastal location , when wind and weather comes from the North , sea salt does get deposited on the exterior glass very quickly.

"We had a wonderful holiday at Bryn Alaw."
The bungalow was perfect for our needs, the kitchen was well equipped and everywhere was clean and tidy. It was lovely to have a welcome pack of goodies and milk. The garden was perfect for our 2 small dogs. The views from the bungalow were amazing and there was plenty to do close by. We will definitely be back.

"Really lovely accommodation and will def recommend."
Great views from elevated position of countryside and sea, seating areas around house to enjoy sun or shade. Easy access to town and coast path but return walk may be a little bit of a hike for some. Easy parking at property and in and around town as starting points for walks. Great kitchen for preparing meals and enjoying views and loved the dining area also for sunny breakfasts. No complaints at all. Plenty of beautiful walks in area so no need to venture far. Thanks so much

"Comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely views and handy enclosed garden for dogs."
Newport is an attractive village with Spa store ,excellent butchers and 4 pubs. We only got to go to one but others looked nice too.
Plenty of lovely beaches close by and places of historical interest to visit.

"Lovely clean property."
Well equipped. Quiet location with views of the sea.
Enjoyed a few lunches in the Castle Inn. (they do small portions for those of us with small appetites)

"The holiday home had spectacular views, very spacious, lovely layout."
Nice garden for the dog but we have a springer Spaniel and he could jump the wall onto the road.
Nice to be able to walk down to the beach, into town and step out of the home and do a walk only used the car twice that week.
Would stay there again, but the dog would have to be put on a long lead.

The wall is nearly 5 foot high but I guess some dogs will always try and escape .
We are also planning on planting hedging in front of the garden wall in the near future so please come again .

"Lovely bungalow, clean and comfortable with great views."
Good location, within walking distance to Newport, which has some lovely pubs/restaurants- a really lovely village.
Only downside for us was that the garden is not completely dog proof and fully secure. So if you’ve a small dog ( easy to get through gaps) or a big dog ( able to scale a low wall) then you need to keep on a lead. Other than that, outside space is great for relaxing and enjoying the views.

"Fabulous house - clean and modern with lots of space and really well stocked kitchen."
We are a family of 4 with a dog and the house worked perfectly for us. Owners were super responsive. Beautiful views from the property and an easy walk down to the town of Newport or the beach. Would definitely recommend a stay here

"A beautiful bungalow with beautiful views of both coast and countryside."
Well equipped, comfortable and clean. A 10 minute walk into Newport where there is a good choice of places to eat. Despite being close to the main, albeit quiet, road it did not spoil our stay. Although the walk into Newport is flat, if you choose to walk down Maes Cnwci to the coast it is a steep walk back!
As our first visitors , we are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and had everything you needed. It’s a perfect location to explore Newport and the area and yeah, the views are awesome . Thank you for your kind comments,
