• "A great base to explore Pembrokeshire I haven’t been to Pembrokeshire for a long time, maybe too long This was a great location to use as a base to revisit this beautiful county, with amazing beaches and countryside."

  1 Gloucester Way was a warm, comfortable, well located property for our break. The weather varied daily, from sunny, warm days to wet, cold ones – but the porch and the space in the garage allowed us to dry wet clothes without needing to worry about damp in the house. The heating meant we were warm and cosy on the wet and cold days. The kitchen had everything we needed. The weather meant we didn’t sit out in the pleasant garden but it was secure so our dog could wander at will. The shower cubicle could have been a bit cleaner (but that’s probably “normal” for a well-used shower) and the gutter at the rear overflowed when we had VERY heavy rain – but as I’m thinking about when I can return it shows that we had a great time. I’m already looking forward to returning to 1 Gloucester Way

  Thank you for your feedback. I am aware that the silicone at the base of the shower has begun to show signs it needs replacing but as you say it’s just signs of a well used shower. We have had a very busy season. The gutter at the back had become clogged with leaves in the very stormy weather we have had. I have cleared them - so thank you. • "This was a lovely property, the kitchen was very well equipped and modern."

  The living area was very comfortable and a lovely touch with the fresh flowers. The gardens were both beautiful and established. The hottub was lovely to chill out in the evenings. The only draw backs I can mention is that the main bathroom is damp and could do with a deep clean on the tiles where the shower is. The main bedroom also felt a little unfinished in places and at times there was a damp smell. However my partner noticed the waterbutt outside is leaking and wondered if this was the cause of this. We didn't use the games room as the pool cues didn't have any tips. It's such a quiet street and a very peaceful stay we both would highly recommend staying here as the other things mentioned are real positives. Thank you so much for the little touches

• "Had such a lovely holiday here."

  The bungalow was perfect, very clean, great location to get to lots of different places for family days out. Hot tub and garden are very relaxing and very quiet. Not overlooked by any neighbours. Owner made sure we had everything we needed, even gin and tonic which was greatly appreciated! We enjoyed dinner at the Ferry Inn several nights which was dog friendly and just a few minutes drive from the bungalow so recommend that. A perfect holiday.

• "We had a lovely holiday."

  The bungalow is beautiful. Comfy beds. Amazing hot tub and beautiful garden. Everything you need in bungalow and more. Lovely fresh flowers in lounge on arrival and tea coffee Welsh cakes and gin. Nice touch. Don’t think it says on description but there are 2:shower rooms and toillets. Both very roomy. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully stay again next year. Lots of places to eat. Broadhaven beach is amazing and has easy access for disabled. Thankyou again .xx styled 1 week July 24. Davies family.

• "We had a great stay in a lovely home away from home ."

  Exceptionally clean lovely smells . Nothing was to much trouble for Marina she was an amazing host . The Bungalow has everything you could need or want The property is very comfortable we loved the hot tub enjoyed the games room . Easy to get to the beach and shops Cannot recommend Gloucester Way enough. We had a wonderful stay .

• "Fantastic property everything catered for , excellent facilities, comfortable bed & sofa, lovely garden with plenty of furniture hot tub was great after along day walking , great location for shops & local pubs , Welshmans Arms do steak night on a Tuesday which was very nice booking advisable , Y Cerrig Glas also do nice food , Shipwright Inn also nice although did not eat there, host very approachable had slight problem with TV but was sorted swiftly."

• "The property is lovely, garden and hot tub great."

  We had a lovely stay. Beds very comfortable, all furnishings are lovely. Just a couple of niggles really. Not having any instructions how things worked. We ended up buying a kettle as we couldn’t seem to get the water hot enough. Great having the pool table but it does need to move up the garage a little bit as the cue kept touching the garage door, trying to play a shot. We would stay again. Lovely places to visit, one of them being Tenby with south beach being Dog friendly, or dog had a great time.

  Thank you for your feedback . There is a draw with all the instruction booklets under the cutlery slide. There is a kettle available on request but the Quooker delivers hot water at 100% on tap . I will move the pool table further up the room. Property Owner

• "Fantastic property & very well equipped."

  It’s very refreshing to stay somewhere that’s not an IKEA showroom! It’s the little touches like the Baylis & Harding hand wash & freshly cut flowers on the coffee table that are very considerate of the owner. The garden is such a wonderful space; it’s obvious that a lot of care & attention has gone into creating such a relaxing environment.

• "We have stayed here on a few occasions, as our family live nearby, and each time we have been impressed with, and fully enjoyed, the facilities available at Gloucester Way."

  The rooms are extremely comfortable, the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge areas are ideal for entertaining and the decked garden space and hot tub are perfect when the weather is in your favour. It's proximity to all South Pembrokeshire visitor attractions and it's closeness to local supermarkets, pubs and restaurants makes it an exceptional base for holidaymakers and short-term visitors. Highly Recommended.

• "Myself and my partner, daughter and her boyfriend and my grandson all had an amazing time staying at this property."

  There was everything that we need . Comfortable and very spacious for all five of us. We enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. Very well situated to the supermarkets and take aways . Lovely local pubs which were dog friendly as we took the two dogs. We can’t wait to come visit again .

• "In all the properties we have stayed in through Sykes there has always been a folder containing useful information regarding how to operate appliances…nearest doctor…vet."

  etc. Places of interest ..places to eat…..details of recycling and bin collection day. Games room (garage)…good facilities however limited space and obstacles in the way. We did enjoy our stay and hope our comments are helpful.

  Great stay. Great location. All it was missing was an actual kettle (tap just didn't get hot enough) and the garden could have done with a slight trim to help get around but we had an excellent time. Would recommend

• "We had a fantastic time spent at 1 Gloucester Way, a holiday booked as a surprise for my partners birthday."

  When we arrived there was milk along with a bottle of prosecco in the fridge, chocolates in the welcome pack on the side and plenty of tea and coffee in the cupboards. The house was well equipped with very modern touches and high end finishes throughout. The garden was large and very beautiful which my husky really enjoyed roaming around with plenty of room to explore. It also consisted of a large hot tub which my eldest daughter enjoyed greatly. We have been to many of these type of dog friendly holidays before and this was our favourite as everywhere was easily accessible. We enjoyed the Waterman’s Arms for its fantastic location on the river with its great food and drinks in Pembroke town centre. We also then enjoyed a Father’s Day lunch in the Welshman’s Arms just at the bottom of the hill. Thank you for a fantastic holiday as described and for me and my family to make memories that will last a lifetime. We would love to come back sometime.

• "Lovely property but it does feel like it is half finished, had an issue with hottub as soon as we were there it was absolutely filthy, but the owners were great came straight out and rectified the issue (brilliant service)."

  Property is in a great location plenty of places to go. Our main issues is that we booked this property for the hot tub and GAMES ROOM as we had 3 teenagers there. Before booking we were in constant talks with sykescottages about this as they told us the pool table had not arrived but may be there by the time we came. They told us the property had full use of a games room included games and a dart board but were waiting for a pool table to arrive but couldn't guarantee that would arrive on time which was fine. When we arrived at the property and looked around there was no sign of a games room but we did see the pool table but still in a box. The main issue is we had been asured that the games room had board games and a dart board but this was none existant. Very disappointed and falsly advertised as there is no games room whatsoever. Alot of money spent and didn't get what was promised. There was no information pack to help us with how to use things or how to sort rubbish and recycling. There also was not enough towels for the amount of people we booked for even though it states towels were provided. Once this place is finished I think will be lovely but it's come up too early.

  The games room is the converted garage. Fully insulated The pool table/ tennis table was damaged when arrived so hence still in box awaiting replacement Board games in cupboard. Property Owner

• "Our stay was wonderful in this well equiped property which has been decorated tastefully with homely touches very high end finish hot tub was brilliant ."
