  • "This was our third visit."

This is essentially an attractive apartment in an excellent location but standards seem to have dropped. The shower was so bad it wasn’t worth using. The water was pulsing hot and cold, the electric shower unit probably needs replacing. The entrance to the stairs up to the apartment was dirty. I hope these problems are sorted out as we would like to visit again. It is probably a Sykes requirement but now that lockdown has finished it seems unnecessarily restrictive to limit access to 5 pm on the day of arrival and 9 am on the day of departure.

also we had to leave for an hour while they done the work .it was a shame as it was a lovely place we enjoyed staying there once everything was sorted Elaine Farr

  • "This is a lovely light, clean and airy apartment that had a lovely modern decor and was very well equipped."

It is an excellect location for the shops, restaurants, pubs and the beach. The parking space right outside the door was an added bonus :) The only small bit of constructive feedback is that the entrance / stairwell into the flat was tired and let the property down and I also found the shower thermostat difficult to control. Apart from that, everything was fab and we would definately visit again

  • "This penthouse flat as we called it was very inviting as we entered the property."

We felt safe and we were very comfortable. There is a parking space but the gate to this is not now there. I did inform the owner. Great location with a fantastic fish and chip shop across the road. Five minute walk to the beach and costal paths. There is a flight of stairs to the landing and once inside the flat entrance there is another flight of stairs. These did not cause any problems. The only downside to the facilities was that there was no TEA POT, so bring your own if you like your tea property mashed.!!! We both enjoyed our weeks stay and if in the future we decide to return we would definitely book this accommodation again.

  • "We stayed at the above flat on probably one of the hottest weeks this Summer."

The flat itself was well presented but unfortunately it was really hot inside you could feel the temperature rising as you climbed the stairs. My other issue was the parking you are led to believe that there is a code to enter the parking area and it was secure. This was not the case and my car was slightly scratched by probably someone with a bag. It was really dark there at night. I worried that my car would not be there in the morning. The facilities in the flat were good no chipped plates like the last place we stayed. The floor was too slippery for my Labrador she struggled walking on the floor. On the plus side it was really close to everything we wanted. Probably won't stay again.

  • "A stylish apartment in a good location with a couple of maintenance issues - the oven was not working properly and the door lock to the flat took some manipulation with the key to open the door."

The bed was a double, as described, but most couples now sleep in a king sized which is preferable in hot weather.

  • "If your wish is to stay in a well maintained and centrally located self catering apartment in the centre of Saundersfoot then this is the place for you."

There are two short flights of stairs giving access to this apartment which was sparkling clean and well set out for a couple or small family. Cross the road and you are at the harbour and main beach. If you have a dog, there is a dog friendly beach a short walk around the harbour which is like all the heaches in this area 'stunning'. There are numerous bars and restraunts in the area to suit all tastes. Many thanks Victoria, I and my small dog 'Pud' had a lovely stay.

  • "We had an amazing stay at this lovely property!"

My family live in Saundersfoot so I would always 100% recommend visiting this area so much to do for everyone and beautiful beaches and lovely people. Our stay here made us feel at home still. It is beautifully furnished and has lots of space! Such a good location as you are right in town, Tesco is on the doorstep to stock up the kitchen as well as the beach, shops, restaurants everything! Tenby is a short drive away which is another great spot to visit! We had no issues with any amenities or features of this property! The one thing I would recommend is to bring any supplies such as sugar, tea, coffee etc. we also did have to buy some more toilet paper as we could only find one roll but as I stated Tesco’s is only next door! Will definitely be staying here again in the future when I bring more people to visit our wonderful Saundersfoot. Thank you so much for making our stay so lovely !

  • "This is a spacious apartment right in the centre of Saundersfoot."

You can reach the seafront in a few minutes and we spent a lot of time there! Kitchen facilities are good with plenty of space to eat and the bed is very comfortable. The drawback for us was that the apartment is unfortunately located very close to a kebab/pizza restaurant which is open until late and their extractor fan is very noisy. The cooking smells enter the flat as soon as you open a window. As they offer delivery, there was often a car parked right next to the shop which blocks your access to the car park. This did detract from the many positives we felt about the apartment.

  • "Property was really lovely, great central location."

Good facilities and some necessities left for us, such as hand soap and washing up liquid. It is up 2 flights of stairs (which our older dog struggled a bit with) but all on one level once up there. There was a good selection of dad's and games and plenty of seating to eat meals or lounge on. Apartment was hard to find but nice lady from launderette showed us where it was. Dont be put off by shabby entrance hall. The apartment is great. The only downside was late check in and early check out. Would definitely book again.

Not quite where we thought it would be but very central, beach and shops within 2 mins. Two flights of stairs may make it difficult for people with mobility issues.

  • "Just to note for future holidayers - there is no outdoor space for dogs out for sitting out to have breakfast for example but is very close to all shops and the beach."

Would not recommend for a family with younger kids as there is only 1 bedroom. The other bed is a sofa bed in the living room- not great if your kids go to bed earlier than you (luckily I out kids are old enough to stay up late). Therefore not enough storage space for 4 people. Sofa bed had crumbs in from previous occupants so obviously hadn’t been checked/cleaned between visitors. Also would prefer a dishwasher over a washing machine. Especially as there is a laundrette a couple of doors down if that is needed. Overall the accommodation was nice though

The flat has been redecorated since our last visit. Everything was clean and tidy, and the bonus of a place to park the car was really good. The location is excellent with the beach and harbour just across the road, and a supermarket a few doors away, plenty of places to eat, and superb scenery. The weather was good which was a bonus at this time of year. The owner was very helpful with any queries via email.

  • "Few big issues: The hot water in the property doesn’t work, this wasn’t a major issue for us because the shower is electric, which is why we didn’t report it, but it wasn’t great."

The kitchen facilities weren’t very good, pots and pans in a bad state and the fridge cut out quite badly one day, it doesn’t look like it’s been serviced at all because the vents are full of fluff. The listing doesn’t really make clear that it’s a second floor flat, where you’ll need to be up and down two flights of stairs, it would be helpful for this to be clearer, particularly since it’s a dog friendly property. The bed was ridiculously high, we worried about falling out. The property didn’t feel very secure at all, the neighbour constantly leaves the main front door wide open and the door to the flat only has one lock that barely closes, this should really be upgraded and a latch added. Despite all of that, it’s a great location very close to the beach, right by a shop and the main restaurants. The flat is decorated nicely and feels like a peaceful retreat despite being in a town centre. We very much enjoyed our time despite those issues.

  • "Overall the holiday was superb and we will be rebooking."

The property was excellent, reasonably clean and well presented. Some small niggles that if corrected would put this property at the pinnacle of expectation. 1. There was a number 1 on the outer door, no number 2 so it was a guessing game. Had to ask a person in the hair salon below to show us the entrance. 2. Car parking was shared with a busy salon, as parking is at a premium a reserved spot for the flats would make a difference at busy times. 3. A No Smoking sign is needed in the shared access area, the residents of flat 1 smoked indoors. Please regard these issues as niggles and not complaints as overall this was a great property.

  • "This flat worked well for the two of us."

...it claimed potential for four, but customers should be aware that this requires two of you to sleep on the sofa in the open living space. The flat itself is very pleasant, though it is in need of some tlc and the stairs from the ground floor are somewhat dark and dingy, giving a slightly worrying first impression. The place is reasonably equipped for two, but minimally for four, especially if you are planning to cook and eat in. The flat is close to the centre of town, which was great for us at this relatively quiet time of the year. Having a parking space was a valuable asset, though it wasn’t always straightforward, as it is a space shared with the hairdressers (and their customers) on the ground floor.
