  • "The property outside is beautiful, however on the door stating, if only, under the bed there are cobwebs, cooker there was one part of the oven not working."

Fridge freezer draws broken and cut my finger. Fridge freezer hard to open, the surroundings of the property very noisy, and also there's a fixed council grounds maintenance. You hear them go passed every minute of the day, then we had someone knock on the door to cut the grass on the property. Not good when you know Friday we leave, so this could have been done then. Mirror broken in the shower room, this is not at all good as this could have also caused damage to us. This is mainly for a couple not 3 people, as the room upstairs very tiny and im not joking but the worst stay ever, I wanted to leave early but paying what we did to stay there I made the most of it. It was not worth the money at all, saying that there's a lovely Robin nest this was my highlight.

Dear Rebecca, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We appreciate your comments as they help us improve our services. We're glad you enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of our property and the Robin nest. However, we are sorry to hear that other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the issues you mentioned: Cleanliness and Maintenance - We apologise for the cobwebs and the broken mirror. These issues should have been addressed before your arrival. Our cleaning and maintenance teams have been informed and will ensure these standards are met in the future. Appliance Concerns - We wish to clarify that the oven was not broken; it appears there was an issue with the timer setting. We apologise for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused. Additionally, we regret the trouble with the fridge freezer and will inspect it to ensure it is functioning properly. Noise - We would like to remind future guests that you can see the general location of the house prior to booking. The lodge is located in a woodland park, just outside of Swansea city. Room Size - Our listing does specify that the top bedroom is small, and we encourage guests to review the details and location before booking. We strive to provide accurate descriptions to help guests make informed decisions. We also want to note that our team is always available to address any concerns during your stay. We encourage guests to reach out at any time, and we would have been more than happy to resolve these issues promptly. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to making the necessary improvements. We hope you might consider staying with us again in the future so we can provide you with a better experience. Best regards Property Owner

  • "A lovely cottage in an excellent setting - on the edge of an extensive park with ornamental gardens and all dog-friendly."

The facitlities were very good. All that was lacking was a bit more information about how to use the fires and cooker, for example. The host responded to our texts immediately and was very helpful when we queried lighting the gas fire. I would suggest updating the information (the key safe is on the shed not a tree stump) and the outdoor seats and table could do with a clean before the good weather comes. We only wish we could have stayed for longer.

  • "The instructions given for arrival are woefully out of date."

I did not appreciate trying to find the key box in the pouring rain on the dead tree stump, as directed, only to find it was now fixed to the shed. Potential visitors would surely be put off by your description of the cottage heating as one gas fire and one electric fire when it has full central heating. You should leave instructions for using the system.

  • "The cottage was everything we hoped it would be, very clean, comfortable bed, good shower and quiet location, apart from the birdsong which we loved."

Couldn't believe the botanical gardens right outside, leading down to the beach. Perfect holiday for our 45th wedding anniversary.
