  • "The cottage was excellent and the grounds were beautiful."

We apologise for not stripping the bed as we were not aware of this and where to put it until we got home and saw the email. We apologise for not doing the rubbish as we were not aware of where to put it and the bin outside did not have a lid and we didn't want to encourage the foxes, so we do apologise. We had a lovely time and so did the dog. Thank you very much for a lovely welcome and all the things provided. Thank you. Julie.

  • "Thank you for a wonderful stay at The Cottage, we loved it here."

It was an excellent bolthole from which we explored historical Suffolk. The Cottage was full of charm and very relaxing - we spent hours just sat on the patio watching the Moorhens on the pond. The Cottage was very clean, the shower and bath were a lovely feature. The Cottage’s location- near several farm shops & deli’s was an added boon. Can’t wait to return…

  • "Please congratulate your photographer on giving the area within the suggestion that 'cottage' was roomy."

You didn't mention the main road this 'lovely cottage' which runs with yards of the place. Best way we can describe the whole experience, it was slightly better than camping. Would not stop in any of your holiday accommodation again. Once bitten..........

  • "Nice, quirky property."

Low headroom inside was a bit of a surprise, especially the doorway into the bathroom. The floors aren't flat, but all that gives the property character. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. If you like something that isn't clinical lines and ultra-modern, then this is a great place to stay. Lovely welcome pack too.

Thank you for your review and you enjoyed the character cottage - this was an important element of the renovation process that the features were retained. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was very nice apart from the low level doorframe in the bathroom which was a bit of a hindrence as my other half is medium height and there is a lot of road noise from the main road."

The cottage has everything you need, apart from wardrobes which should be mentioned on the description and may be the very steep stairs which is difficult for people who have mobility issues.

  • "Just a couple of minor things, the torch is not working and the bottle opener needs replacing."

The hot water is extremely hot which could be dangerous and also wasting them money. The only other comment we would make is the outside patio is extremely slippery in the cold weather. Could do with a small grit bucket for the winter. As I said these are only minor and didn't ruin our stay in a lovely little cottage for two.
