• "Great location and well appointed apartment with some nice welcoming touches."

  The kitchen/lounge is excellent, but the awkward arrangement of the #1 bathroom leaves it cramped at best. We are currently querying additional charges for cleaning and a repair charge for a blind pull which failed during our visit, which we feel are unjustified. As it stands we would be reluctant to return.

• "This beautiful apartment was spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable with all the necessary amenities needed to make our short stay such a lovely one."

  Quietly situated but just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Southwold and 2 minutes to the beach. We had such a calm and relaxing couple of days and will definitely be booking for a return visit. The booking procedure, confirmation emails and instructions for entry were perfect. Thank you!

• "Lovely well positioned apartment, with everything you need for a good holiday."

  The second bedroom is a bit of a squeeze for two adults and would have been good if the bed had been out.

• "A lovely ground floor apartment in a very convenient spot."

  Good for anyone with limited mobility. Comfortable and well-maintained, and the welcome pack was excellent. Plenty of bedding and towels as well, and generally clean and very tidy. We could have benefitted from more bin bags, and the WiFi was quite variable (non-existent in the furthest bedroom). Overall, we had a delightful time and would happily stay there again.

• "A fantastic little ground floor apartment within a stone’s throw of the sea, Southwold Lighthouse and the town centre."

  The properly was clean and beautifully decorated. We chose this because of my elderly Mum who hadn’t been away for a number of years as she’s very unstable on her feet and lost confidence in going away. This property was ideal giving her a walk-in shower en-suite in her bedroom and open plan living area for us all to socialise with no steps to negotiate. Absolutely ideal for anyone in a similar position. It’s enabled us to give her a proper break away and a boost to her her confidence at the same time. A lovely welcome pack and gift and we’ll definitely consider a revisit.

• "Sees the Day, was in a good location for the beach, pier and the town centre."

  The kitchen living area had a good amount of space to relax in. The bed was comfy. The Wi-Fi worked well and the showers were good. I like a bath so it was nice to have one in the property too. A great stay, thank you.

• "I needed to book a ground floor apartment suitable for my mother who has mobility issues which was fairly close to the local amenities."

  Seas the Day fit the brief perfectly. The apartment is beautifully renovated and decorated to a high standard. There was everything we needed for our week long stay. The welcome hamper was very thoughtful and the “souvenir” mugs were a lovely touch. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation

• "Excellent standards of design, fixtures and fittings."

  Very well equipped and comfortable. Central location, near sea. Provided all the practical essentials, e.g. washing up materials, as well as tea, coffee and condiments (not often the case). The Welcome pack was nice. There were one or two minor matters, which I have mentioned to the owner, and which I am confident she will address. Would stay there again.

• "Everything in the property was beautifully styled, comfortable and spotlessly clean."

  There was also a lovely gift basket with treats. The only suggestion I do have (and this applies to Best Of Suffolk generally) is that with our changing climate and increasing temperatures, often unexpected, it would be really helpful if a portable fan was provided in all the properties. This really would have helped our comfort on the hottest week of the year which I struggled with a little, especially at night. Other than that I can report that the owner had thought of everything. As a couple who love to cook there was even measuring scales and jug.

• "It was a lovely flat for the three of us."

  Mum has a walker to help her mobility and this flat was well organised with no steps or tripping hazards. Actually, after a day she was navigating the area without the walker. Parking outside the property, or close to it was never a problem despite being close to the beach and town. We had a lovely break and would happily return on another occasion
