  • "The property is cosily overlooked by the owners ‘main house’."

The owner will email you clear directions of where you can park whilst dropping off your luggage on arrival and inform you of your designated parking spot. Within the email there will also be news about being met and info about their dogs. The owner is the perfect host & very knowledgeable. A local pig farmer dumped hundreds of gallons of pig excrement in the field right next to our tiny seating area where we would sit for some spring sunshine and glorious views & at first we believed it was a health & safety issue but the owner reassured us that this was perfectly normal practice. The sickening stench & flies were an inconvenience but we got used to it by our last day. The owners lovely dogs would bark at our garden gate every day to say hello. The interior of the cottage is lovely. The range cooker is an ‘Everhot’ and is always on and although the food takes a lot longer to cook, it makes slow cooked food taste even better. The bed was comfortable & water is on demand. Thank you Linda. It was certainly memorable

Thank you for your detailed review. I'm glad you found the cottage comfortable and well equipped, and I am sorry that the farmer had to do his annual muck-spreading just while you were staying but this was entirely out of my control. Property Owner

  • "The property is RATHER remote (which suited us well) but may not be right for everyone."

The cottage is extremely well equipped - high speed wifi, smart tv, blutooth speaker, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom - comfortable furniture - patio table & chairs etc. FULL MARKS ALL ROUND

Thank you for your kind review. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. The cottage is certainly secluded (down a private lane and surrounded by countryside) yet it is only three miles from Truro and major road networks. As a result it offers the best of both worlds: total peace and quiet yet easy accessibility. Property Owner
