Black Rock Sands
At Black Rock Sands you’ll find golden sand, an imposing headland and plenty of caves and caverns. You can also explore the abundance of rock pools as the tide recedes and take in the fascinating multi-coloured rock face.
The flat beach is accessible by car, so you won’t need to worry about packing light. Bring buckets, nets, kites and a picnic to really enjoy this stunning bay for the day.
Motorboats and water bikes are permitted here within a special zone dedicated to their use.
Dogs are restricted on the northern end of the beach between April and September. The rest of the beach is dog-friendly year-round.
