A wonderful piece of engineering and architecture, the suspension bridge connects the Queen’s Park area of Chester with the Groves. The bridge came to be in 1852 and is the only footbridge in Chester.
It’s a fantastic spot for a picture, enjoying far-reaching views down the River Dee to the Old Dee Bridge and the surrounding buildings. You can also enjoy watching Mark Twain and Lady Diana from ChesterBoat sail to and fro on the water below.
