Circus Lane is a residential street, but it garners several visitors with its beauty. The lane dates back to the 18th century, built for stable workers and employees of New Town’s families.
These days, it makes for a wonderful place for an afternoon stroll as well as a pretty backdrop for pictures. You’ll also be able to spot the top of St Stephen’s Church, one of the venues for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
