Dunsdon Nature Reserve
Get up close to this rare habitat, a type of purple moor-grass and rush pasture, that is important for biodiversity and has great potential for filtering pollution and retaining carbon.
While it may be wet and wild, Dunsdon Nature Reserve boasts a wealth of wildflowers, insects, and birds including the Grey Heron. It was also named Devon’s Coronation Meadow in 2012 in recognition of its value.
Dogs on leads are welcome and there are 400m of boardwalk followed by open fields for visitors to explore. Waterproofs are recommended.
If you’re a nature lover, you have to visit Dunsdon Nature Reserve…
