Esthwaite Water
Take to the water at Esthwaite for a tranquil day out in the Lake District. This 280-acre private water is nestled in the heart of lakes and is home to an abundance of wildlife.
Bird lovers can book a self-drive or guided Osprey Safari cruise on the water. The spectacular birds can be seen during the first week in April and September, coming from three nests in the Esthwaite Valley.
You can also enjoy boat or bank fishing. Esthwaite Water is home to trout, pike and perch amongst other species and predator, trout and coarse fishing are all options here.
After some fishing or cruising on the lake, why not tuck into a hearty treat at the Boathouse Café? You can have a full English breakfast, sandwiches burgers, pies and pasties as well as hot and cold drinks.
