Harrogate Theatre
The critically acclaimed Harrogate Theatre sits within a Grade II listed building in the heart of Harrogate. Frank Tugwell, who is known for designing the Savoy Theatre in London, was the architect behind this theatre.
The theatre been putting on shows since 1900, with its first being a charity show for Boer War soldiers.
In the past 50 years alone, Harrogate Theatre has put on over 250 productions! There are an array of genres for visitors to enjoy, too.
One of its most famed productions has to be its pantomimes. Every year the theatre hosts one for the public to enjoy, from Disney favourites to fairy tale classics.
Aside from pantomimes, the theatre hosts a variety of shows. There’s something for everyone here, from brass bands, serious plays to tribute acts!
