Hawthornthwaite Fell
Hawthornthwaite Fell stands tall in the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire and occupies a north-facing position. There is a single path from the south that leads to the summit.
The summit at Hawthornthwaite is boggy and grouse are farmed in the area. Hen harriers can also be seen here. Walking to this fell is best on clear, dry days.
