Hurlers Stone Circles
Hurlers Stone Circles consists of three late Neolithic or early Bronze Age stone circles arranged in a line, a grouping that is unique in England. According to legend, the stones are the remains of men petrified of playing hurling on a Sunday.
Free parking is situated a short distance from the circles. Visitors must head towards Cheesewring from the car park across uneven ground. Sheep and ponies graze in the area and dogs must be kept on leads.
