Lake District Wildlife Park & Zoo
It’s around 8 miles from Keswick and one of the most popular North Lakes family days out. A visit to the Lake District Wildlife Park offers a chance to observe both domestic and exotic species, including many natural open enclosures.
There are also lemurs, gigantic bison from the American prairies, gibbons, zebra, deer, unusual breed domestic animals, birds of prey, and reptiles.
Make sure to visit the exceptional falconry shows and discussions about exotic animals, as well as daily feedings. Tractor rides and a playground are available whilst animal interactions are offered for an additional fee.
