Lantivet Bay
Lantivet Bay is nestled between Polruan and Polperro and is a beautiful example of Cornish coastline. During the Spring the bay’s cliffs are carpeted in wildflowers which make way for rich red and purple heathers during the summer months.
The beach itself is small and covered during high tide but a mixture of sand and pebbles can be accessed during low tide.
The best way to explore the bay as a whole is on foot. There is a National Trust car park where visitors can park and join a path to the cliffs over Palace Cove and westward towards Lantivet Bay. Eagle eyed visitors can spot seabirds soaring overhead as they hike.
