Lelant Station to St Ives
This hiking trail is a must for anyone wanting to uncover a range of coastal sights throughout Lelant, Carbis Bay and St Ives!
Come out of Lelant station and right past the old station house and carry on up the hill before turning right at the top towards St Uny’s church. Walk through the churchyard and carry on along the path downhill through the golf course.
Pass under the railway and carry on along the Coast Path heading left as you walk through the dunes between Porth Kidney sands and the railway.
Keep following the Coast path around the headland at Carrack Gladden and take the steps above Carbis Bay Beach uphill to come out on Beach Road and turn right. Walk behind the carpark to pick up the Coast Path in front of the Carbis Bay Hotel.
Keep following the path above the railway line past Baulking House. Keep going until you reach a second railway bridge, cross it for St Ives Station.
Stay in St Ives and explore or rest your feet and catch the train back to Lelant Station. Alternatively, you can stop off at one of the dog-friendly beaches dotted along the path, including Porthminster!
Soak up the coastal breeze and sights on this scenic walk…
