Lizard Lighthouse
Visitors can discover the old engines inside the renovated engine room at Lizard Lighthouse. The twin towers of the lighthouse were commissioned in 1752, providing a welcome light to vessels crossing the Atlantic for over 250 years.
Within the engine room, visitors can learn about different aids to navigation and light sources. As well as the life of a lighthouse keeper and how emerging technology helps the mariner.
Afterwards, visitors are invited to climb the stairs and take in breath-taking views from the top.
