Llyn Alaw
Llyn Alaw is the largest lake on the Isle of Anglesey and provides the drinking water to the northern part of the island. The lake also offers recreational activities for visitors including, fishing, walking and birdwatching.
In the summer, Llyn Alaw is home to wintering wildfowl and little grebes and there have been sightings of the rare black tern and little gull. There are also a wealth of plant and fish species found in the area.
Llyn Alaw has a network of pathways which allow visitors the chance to explore the abundance of wildlife and stretch their legs in this stunning part of Anglesey.
