Model Engineers of Wrexham
The Wrexham & District Society of Model Engineers offers a weekly Sunday afternoon event in Gresford Village where locals and tourists can experience miniature functioning models of live steam or diesel outline locomotives available for rides. Rides are free, however, donations are greatly appreciated.
The Western District Society of Model Engineers (WDSME) is a well-established community of model engineers of all ages and skill levels from all backgrounds that meet on a regular basis to support and inspire one another in their modelling endeavours.
The membership includes both seasoned veterans and enthusiastic trainees. Anyone with an interest in model engineering, road steam, internal combustion engines, stationary engines, tool making, horology, or other relevant subjects is encouraged to join.
