Mullion Cove
Mullion Cove was once home to a pilchard fleet and the old pilchard cellar can still be seen on the quayside. The harbour was built in the late 19th century to protect the boats. Today the cove is owned and looked after by the National Trust and a small number of boats still work from the harbour.
At high tide there is no beach at Mullion Cove but at low tide a pebble and sand stretch is revealed. Stunning cliff walks can be found on the cliff path either side of the beach and the views out to Mullion Island and the smaller islands around it are breath-taking.
Unwind with ease at this charming cove…
