National Cycle Route 5
After passing through Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Stoke-on-Trent and Chester, you’ll enter Wales and follow a coastal route towards Prestatyn. You’ll then travel to Abergele via a number of classic North Wales seaside towns.
You’ll pass through Colwyn Bay and Rhos-on-Sea and on to Conwy, home of the magnificent Conwy Castle. You’ll then head to Bangor before the final stretch of the journey across Anglesey to Holyhead. Holyhead is the largest town on the island of Anglesey as well as a busy port with connections to Ireland.
