Rocky Valley
The best way to explore Rocky Valley is via the footpath that follows the meandering Trevillet River as it passes down the valley through beautiful and dramatic scenery.
The walk begins as mature woodland before changing to moorland where the slate that gives it its name emerges. The ruins of a mill and bronze age labyrinths can be found along the way and eagle-eyed visitors may spot birds, dee, foxes, badgers and voles.
