Tanglewood Wild Garden
Tanglewood Wild Garden is open daily (apart from 1st October – 10th April). This nine-acre delight offers families a great day out, with ponds and woodland to explore. It is truly magical and is bound to please the little ones!
The park came to be in 2001 and started off with just a small fish pond. Nowadays it is packed with wildlife, quirky sculptures and a wealth of plants.
You can look forward to spotting squirrels, badgers, rabbits and even bats here. The ponds attract an array of vibrant dragonflies and small birds, such as Canada geese and teal.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they’re on leads, so your four-legged friends can enjoy this enchanting garden with you.
Tanglewood Wild Garden welcomes barbecues, so you can enjoy some grilled delights in these serene surroundings. Alternatively, why not enjoy a cream tea and cake at the on-site cake hut.
