The Exchange Gallery
The Exchange Gallery is a special, contemporary art spot in Penzance. The space was opened by Newlyn Art Gallery in 2007 and is based inside a unique building.
The building is unique because it was once a telephone exchange in Penzance. After extensive architectural changes, the building now enjoys LED glass panels that light up at night; it’s an impressive sight!
The space itself features contemporary art installations from global and local artists. The work changes on a rotational basis, so you’ll regularly find new artwork to admire here.
Workshops and events are also held at The Exchange Gallery. Some of these are perfect for the little ones and centre around arts & crafts.
