The Tamar Valley Donkey Park
The Tamar Valley Donkey Park rests near Gunnislake on the outskirts of the Tamar Valley AONB. The sanctuary has been rescuing and providing care for Donkeys for over 30 years.
The sanctuary welcomes visitors and offers plenty of family-friendly activities. A highlight must be meeting the animals, though!
The Tamar Valley Donkey Park not only houses donkeys for you to meet but is home to a wealth of goats, pigs, rabbits, sheep and guinea pigs. After meeting this array of delightful animals, you can even take a donkey for a countryside walk!
After getting acquainted with the charming animals, why not take the little ones to the indoor/outdoor play area? Here, they can let off steam in the play barn and soft play area.
The Tamar Valley Donkey Park also hosts a welcoming eatery, Holly’s Café. Here, classic Cornish cream teas and a variety of dishes, from sandwiches to burgers, can be enjoyed.
The Donkey Bazaar gift shop is also on-site, where you can purchase a donkey-themed gift or two.
