Tintagel Church to Trebarwith Strand
Starting from Tintagel Castle, this tranquil 3-mile stroll follows the South-West Coast Path, which has lots of waymarks, via clifftop trails to Trebarwith Strand.
The hike begins at Glebe Cliff, a historic chapel perched on a cliff overlooking Port Isaac Bay’s jagged coastline, and ends at the cliffs overlooking Trebarwith Strand, a sandy surf beach.
A detour to the beach and perhaps a tavern overlooking it is optional, but the path then follows a quarrymen’s trail into Treknow and returns over country roads and mediaeval tracks that connect Treknow to the church and castle.
