Extremely well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Only negatives were water pressure on top floor was low and the decals are worn on the ovens so bit of a guess to work out temperature setting.
Overall very good holiday. Thank you.

"We had a brilliant holiday at Pensarn hall."
Facilities are excellent. Warm comfortable house, great for an early Easter holiday. The younger grandchildren loved the garden and the teens (and adults!) loved the snooker table. If you love the outdoors, walking(high level and low level), the beach etc this is the place for you, but give us a chance to re-book for next year!!

"The heating didn't seem to be on a timer."
One just had to press a button to get another hour as required. The kitchen was always cosy close to the Arger. It was a lovely experience staying there and the area close by is fabulous. We didn't need to drive much in the week and the views from the house were great.

"The house is amazing."
Spotlessly clean. The position is ideal for exploring all that Snowdonia has to offer. There is plenty of parking space, a lovely big garden for family games and quiet areas too. The kitchen is very well equipped (although the electric cooker needs new control decals) However, the BBQ is only suitable for cooking for 4 people. With 2 sitting rooms and a conservatory there is plenty of room for a large group.

"What a fantastic house for a large group."
We had 13 of us and the configuration of the bedrooms was just perfect. The house was so well stocked, comfortable and warm. We used the log-burning stove quite a lot because the weather outside was cold but once the very efficient radiators came on, we didn't need it. Those look-alike Victorian radiators are so good. Thank you, too, for the very generous tray of goodies that welcomed us. We were celebrating my 80th birthday, so to have all the family (children and grandchildren) with me there for a week was wonderful. A huge thank you to the owners.

"We took the family of 14 to Pensarn Hall to celebrate a 60th and 88th birthday."
It is a superb property which is ideal for large groups. All of the bedrooms were excellent and had their own bathrooms. Extensive kitchen is very well equipped and the large dining room is fantastic where we had a parties and a lot of fun playing snooker. There are two cosy reception rooms. Great location with easy walk to the beach. Longer walk to nearby pubs but they are decent and serve great food.

"Lovely property."
Comfortable, clean and very well stocked with entertainment games, puzzles and videos. The kitchen was well equipped and was huge. It was a joy to stay there. Lovely having Jenny and Reg nearby - when a bulb popped a replacement was soon in.
The area was full of things to see and do. If a large property is needed - this is a great one.

Location superb with fantastic views from the house - plenty of room for everyone and good outdoor space."
There is a beach within easy walking distance and it is also within easy travelling distance of mountains, castles, railways etc
Good to have ensuite facilities in all the rooms. Overall with its size and layout it is a good base for families/friends to meet up and spend time together.

"Fantastic house for a large family (4 families)."
We went here for a 75th birthday. All age groups thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Kids played mostly in the gardens which are quite extensive. Views over the estuary are stunning and the views around the house are of the Welsh hills!!
My only criticism is we cannot get everyone together for a longer vacation....

"Pensarn Hall is a beautiful old house, and is extremely well equipped."
What a treat to be able to use Portmeirion pottery every day! The house was an ideal space for grandparents, children and grandchildren to stay and celebrate a Ruby Wedding anniversary. Local walking was great, the harbour to the beach, the back lanes to Llanbedr and the local farm park kept us all occupied. We were blessed with good weather, but this house is ideal whatever the weather. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

"Fabulous house."
Wonderfully kept. We all enjoyed living like lords for a week(even if we did have to do the catering). Weather not good enough to enjoy the outdoor facilities but snooker table was a hit.
Very easy to get out and about and the local slate mine and children’s zoo were a good introduction to the area. Their cafe was also a winner.
Only thing to mention - no ice cream scoop!! So obvious how great it was. Would return again if opportunity arose. Congratulations to all involved

"As a large group of friends who like to meet up at a big cottage every year, Pensarn Hall met all our criteria."
The hall is well-equipped for a large group of adults to sleep, cook and have fun. The location is excellent and, despite some rain, we managed a lovely walk up Rhinog Fawr and a fantastic trip to the beautiful beach at Harlech, complete with a swim in the sea. Caroline was very helpful and thoughtful, providing milk, tea and biscuits that were very welcome. Overall a lovely holiday!

"We had 4 children with us, the very large garden was a god send, they could play out without having to keep checking on them."
The view was amazing, and we were blown away with all the kitchen equipment and how many different dishes, glasses and other items, the large table/snooker table came in very handy. We could not have wanted for more.

"An excellent house with something for all ages."
We were three generations baby to pensioner. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Plenty to do locally ranging from sandy beaches to Snowdonia. Local all weather venues enjoyed by our four under 5's were Harlech swimming pool and Llanfair Play barn. Pensarn station is at the bottom of the drive so unlike many remote properties it is possible to arrive by train. Also it provides an alternative for travel up and down the Welsh coast.

"The property was excellent for a large family group of mixed ages as there are a number of living rooms and a large dining room ensuring everyone could eat together comfortably."
The only comments are that there are probably not enough mugs for a full house of people and there are not enough sharp knives, hardly any at all in fact, we were always scrabbling around trying to find the 1 small vegetable knife. All the other facilities were excellent as was the location close to the beach and walking areas.

"Great facilities - kitchen had everything you needed and more best equipped kitchen we have had on our holidays now into our 4th of holidaying as a group."
Quality bed linen and very comfortable beds. Bedrooms a great size. 5 minute walk to Pensarn railway station which was a bonus - leaving the car at home and able to get to many places along the coast. Highly recommended
