2. Organise an Easter Egg Hunt
No Easter celebration would be complete without a good old Easter egg hunt! Egg hunts are a great family Easter activity that everybody can take part in. You can either organise your hunt or find one at many public sites in the UK.
The National Trust Cadbury Easter egg hunt can be found in 250 locations nationwide, where you can be rewarded with a selection of delicious Cadbury eggs.
Several Easter egg hunt ideas can be found on the internet, which you can customise to fit the ages and number of participants.
Divide large groups into teams and include a relay race, ensuring each child receives an egg. Older children can be involved by adding clues or creating a treasure map. You could even reverse the roles and let the kids hide the eggs!
3. Craft Easter Decorations
Next on our list of Easter activities is ideal for budding artists and creatives among you. Easter decorations are a great way for children to express themselves creatively whilst at home and away from school.
Try crafting Easter bonnets, painting and decorating eggs, making bunny puppets out of wooden spoons, or making Easter baskets for the eggs you collect. This is the perfect time to reconnect with family and do some crafts. Other crafts include Easter cards, an Easter wreath and Easter bunting to name a few!

Farm parks typically offer experiences such as bottle-feeding lambs, handling chicks and rabbits, as well as tractor and trailer rides.
Visitors to Pembrokeshire cottages can visit Folly Farm, whilst Cotswolds accommodation has Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park. There’s even the chance to visit The Big Sheep when staying at one of these cottages in Devon.
