Along with thousands of owners across the country, every one of our 1,000 employees is helping us do our bit to create a cleaner, greener and fairer future for the business and the world in which it operates.
We will be producing an Impact Report annually to demonstrate what we’ve been up to each year.
Our impact on people and the planet is just as important to us as shareholder profit. We want to make sure we do our bit to create a cleaner, greener and fairer future for all by introducing new ways of working that make a positive social and environmental impact.
Our strategy and objectives will continue to evolve to ensure we’re focusing in the right places – and delivering change that’s the most beneficial and aligned with best practice scientific recommendations. We are committed to doing business fairly; paying fair wages to all employees; and promoting inclusion and equality so colleagues bring their best selves to work every day.
We’ve signed up to the Better Business Act and are one of the founding members of the UK For Good initiative – joining hundreds of like-minded companies also looking to do the right thing – and are working to rubber-stamp this with B Corp certification.
2022 saw a tremendous amount of success for our staff, community and impact initiative. We’ve been focusing our efforts on our environmental and social objectives over the past 12 months, investing in our Impact team, pursuing B Corp certification, and establishing new internal procedures and pilots to help us get there.
Some of our highlights include…
Our goals for 2023 are based on lessons learned over the last year, including our first carbon footprint study, as well as a grasp of current best practice science-based targets and the Paris Agreement.

Work with at least 20 biodiversity projects in FY23 across the regions we operate in through volunteering and sponsorship of initiatives
Become a single-use plastic free business and achieve Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Business accreditation by the end of 2024
Inspire and enable 100% of our team to volunteer every year, supporting charities, community projects and social enterprises
Enable 100 disadvantaged families to go on holiday in FY23 and work to increase this number every year
Positively impact at least 10 community and charity initiatives every year, strengthening existing relationships while building new ones
