Do you want to enjoy a UK staycation and help the planet at the same time? At Sykes Holiday Cottages, we have the perfect solution for you!

In line with our Impact mission, we want to protect habitats and promote biodiversity. We’ve launched a new eco-friendly initiative! Post a photograph while on your Sykes holiday with the hashtag, #MySykesStay on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and we will plant a tree!

All you need is your phone, yourself, and an Instagram-worthy background shot during your Sykes stay.

How to Post

Our initiative is easy and only takes a few minutes! All you have to do is share a photo on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook during your holiday at a Sykes property and you must include the hashtag, #MySykesStay.

For every photo posted and tagged correctly, Sykes Holiday Cottages will plant a tree. We are unable to determine or certify the location of each entrant’s tree.

We’ll be working with B-Corp Certified tree planting experts Ecologi, who are making a positive impact on habitats and communities across the globe.

The initiative closes when we have reached our limit of 30,000 posts! By using the hashtag, your fabulous pictures may be shared throughout our Sykes social media pages.

The total number of trees planted will be limited to 30,000, so get entering quick!
