Why are we celebrating Sykes Gems?
At Sykes, our mission is to become the #1 provider of UK holidays by delivering a superb choice of holiday cottages and great service. We couldn’t achieve this without our property owners, who have been a major cornerstone of Sykes for the past 30 years.
We want to use these awards as a way to celebrate our fantastic owners who always champion excellence for our holidaymakers, as well as the cottages themselves that provide the ultimate guest experience
What are we looking for?
We believe our owners deserve to be recognised for their achievements. Whether you’ve only been with us for a few months or you’re a seasoned Sykes owner, we want you to nominate yourself so we can showcase your amazing hard work.
Think your property stands out from the crowd? We want to be able to shout about it! From the most unique to the best for large groups, the most quirky to the best renovation, you could win the best property for any and all of these categories, alongside many more.
We’re also looking for shining examples of the best customer experience. Does your property have that loved-up je-ne-sais-quoi that makes it best for couples? Or does your property go the distance to be the very best for walking holidays?
All nominees will also be automatically entered into regional categories, and a prize draw is also available for all who enter the Sykes Gems awards. There’s a £1000 Sykes Holiday Cottages voucher prize to be won!
How to nominate yourself as a Sykes Gem
Nominating yourself is a very easy process and only takes a few minutes, all you need to do is to complete the self-nomination form via email or via this online form.
Nominations open on 5th June 2024 and the deadline is 15th July 2024. The shortlist will be agreed upon in July and judging will take place throughout August, before revealing our Sykes Gems 2024 Winners in September.
