  • "Absolutely stunning."

Decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Lots of lovely ornaments dotted around, many with a seaside theme and others nature. Well equipped.

  • "This house has been renovated to a very high standard."

It was very comfortable fort two of us staying. I think the living room, though comfortable ,would be small if 6 people were staying. It’s a great base for exploring the Moray coast and people in the area are super friendly. Overall, we had a lovely relaxing week

Hi Many thanks for your reply and nice comments, We thing the living room would sit 4 adults comfortably with 2 kids or adults and 4 kids with no issues, We have had 6 adults staying in the past with no issues. Rgds Mike & Tina Property Owner

  • "A real Gem."

Tastefully modernised, decorated and furnished. Extremely well equipped. Comfortable. Good location. Dog friendly and with sea-side walks, a few metres from front door. Excellent communications and instructions from owners. WiFi, Television and heating systems are very good. We have booked a lot of self catering accommodation over many years - this ranks amongst the best. Owners have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into bringing this high quality cottage to the rental market. I would highly recommend, and book again. We were just a couple, and puppy. So had no need to even venture upstairs. Would be very comfortable for 4 and even six. You could book this property safely and not be disappointed.

Many thanks for your review. Its comments like this that make us smile we put a lot off effort to making the cottage home for home. There are some lovely walks around the area and the Speyside way is one of then which starts in Buckie just down from the square and I believe now ends in Newtonmore now. I think a mirror in the downstairs bedroom similar to the mirrors upstairs would be good. Would have no hesitation in recommending Corner cottage.

Many thanks for your kind feedback very much appreciated. I will look into your comment about the mirrors we have mirrors in all 3 bedrooms they are on the end of the wardrobes upstairs . Rgds Mike & Tina Property Owner

  • "It was an amazing stay at Corner Cottage in Port Gordon."

The cottage was definitely a home from home and so comfortable to stay in. Port Gordon itself does not have very much in it, a community café that runs a few days a week by volunteers and they were all just lovely. There is a Spar no pub, however Buckie is 2 mins in the car up the Road with a large Tesco and lots of stuff there. Beach is great and harbor for walks and enjoyed seeing the family of seals there. Great Access to all the Towns around spent time in Lossiemouth watching the jets which my son just loved. There is even a Car Charger out at the back of the house and we had an electric car so that was amazing. Thank you Tina the host who even returned my jumper I had left! HIGHLY RECROMMEND and we will definitely be back.

Hi Mrs Divers Many thanks for your kind words, We are glad you loved your stay at corner cottage , Its a quite wee village Portgordon and the people are friendly and always helpful. There is a nice hotel just a 3 mins drive the Mill hotel back up into the main road and head towards Fochabers. Hopefully we will see you again in the future. Many thanks Mike & Tina Property Owner

  • "We were delighted with our stay at corner cottage."

The owners had thought of everything and the cottage was finished to an excellent standard. The location is fantastic for exploring the north east coast and the colony of seals on the beach at the end of the village was a bonus each morning. We wanted for nothing. The owners were nearby if we needed anything and very attentive to make sure we were comfortable. The house was perfect for a family of 6 of us over new years and our 2yr old lab who enjoyed the many walks we did around the Spey Bay Area. We would definitely recommmend and would love to come back in future.

We would just like to say thank you for the feed back and its very much appreciated. We are glad you loved your stay. Sorry about the power cut on your first night but glad it all worked out well Again Thanks Michael & Tina Property Owner
