  • "Fabulous property, beautifully furnished and with everything that you need- it felt like home from home, the owners have thought of everything."

We’ve stayed in Anglesey several times and this is by far the nicest, best equipped and cleanest property. The location is perfect, positioned on a very quiet estate of 20 new houses, set back from the road, with a very well kept sunny garden, completely secure for the dog and with lovely comfy garden furniture. Across the main road is a stunning golf course, an Indian restaurant and 5 mins walk away is a very friendly local pub. We will definitely book again.

It was the cleanest, best stocked and nicest furnished of them all. The owners had thought of everything and provided us with everything we could need, even including a small tool set for when I needed a screwdriver! The decor was excellent inside but the effort in the garden was superb too, and was a wonderful space to spend outside. We will definitely rebook in our annual trip to Anglesey.

We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine and cake. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather but that didn’t so us, we still got out and about. Plenty to do around and not to far to travel. Our little doggie Zara also enjoyed her stay. Want to finish of by saying the owners are lovely they couldn’t help you enough if you needed it. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful place. Will definitely be back but in less windier weather. Many thanks

  • "We were booked to stay from Monday 18th March until Sunday the 24th March."

It was meant to be a special occasion to celebrate my partners 40th Birthday. As you will understand as you read on, we were disgusted and had to cut short our holiday. Upon entering the property it appeared clean. Unfortunately, on closer inspection we found it to be full of dust and EXTREMELY unclean. The plastic flowers were particularly covered. This brought on an bad allergic reaction for my partner. She had to double up on anti allergy medication. We sat in the lounge area and found all the cushions were also covered in dust and stained. They had to be removed just so we could watch the TV in the evening. The mat on the floor smelt particularly bad and needs to be cleaned thoroughly. When we went up to bed there are lots of extra blankets for guests to use. These also had to be removed so we could sleep. They need properly cleaning or replaced! Who knows when this was last done?! There was dust around the ornaments and these also had hadn't been cleaned properly. It was so bad that we had to move them all into the other bedroom. There was also a yellow stain on the blanket that was draping the sofa in the lounge. That night neither of us slept well. We paid £844 to stay in this property & they put a £200 open coil mattress in it! It was awful and neither of us had a good night's sleep since we got there! Surely paying that amount of money for a SYKES property you would at least expect to be able to sleep. The main bathroom smelt strongly of a male scent, which was still there as we left. It makes me question the cleanliness in there. There were more plastic dust collectors in the courner of that room. The shower head also fell down every time you shower which was annoying each day. There were used towels in the white wicker basket in the downstairs shower room which were prior to our stay. Who knows how long it had been there?! I find this extremely unacceptable and unhygienic. It also asks questions as to when the last time it was cleaned. On Tuesday afternoon, we were settingly down for lunch, when a man appeared in the back garden! He said through the window that he was there to clean the patio window. He didn't knock on the front door to let us know or ask if it was OK! We felt exposed and unsure of our safety. We booked this property because of its "secure" garden for our dog. If he had been out in the garden and escaped I can't bear to think of the consequences. We came to the conclusion we had had enough and decided to leave a day early. What a complete waste of money. The day we decided to leave was the most horrifying. As requested by the owner, I stripped the bed. To my horror I discovered what we had been sleeping in. The duvet was very badly stained and had lots of small hairs all over it. Then I found the mattress itself was stained with urine. We had been sleeping on a urine stained mattress. This left us feeling physically sick and i find this extremely unacceptable. The pillows were also badly stained. We voiced our complaint to the owners and to sykes; the response was they will take more care dusting and offered us a free night stay. I find this an insult and completely out of order. Why in the world would we want to stay again?! WE WERE SLEEPING ON A URINE STAINED MATTRESS!!!!!

May I politely point out you were happy to stay 5 nights and did not raise any issues during your stay. Property Owner

  • "We booked 19 Parc Delfryn for my birthday week, and our first UK break with our little pup."

When we arrived there was a lovely little welcome gift of a bottle of wine and cookies. The house was beautifully done, so homely and welcoming. It had everything you needed! Our main priorities when looking for where we would stay was that it was dog friendly and had an enclosed garden, it ticked all our boxes. We had the best time even if the weather was bad, and a lot of that was having a nice base to come back to after particularly rainy dog walking! Ian popped by one evening to check we were ok and if we needed anything which was a really nice touch. We loved our stay thank you, we’d give more than 5 stars if we could!!

It is so beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The garden is also lovely and very safe for our Border Terrier. The house is spotlessly clean throughout with lots of throws, cushions and battery operated candles. It really does have everything you could possibly need, both for us and our dog, including a spare lead and poo bags. The owners could not be more helpful and welcoming, being in touch by phone and calling round to check all was well. Thank you so much. We love this house and hope to visit again.

It felt welcoming from the moment we opened the door. The house is one of twenty in a quiet cul de sac about a forty minute walk from the beautiful Benllech and there is a lovely open view from the Juliet balcony in the bedroom. The whole house is tastefully furnished with many special touches such as battery operated candles, fairy lights and modern art work. The house is light, comfortable and warm and all the furnishings and accessories are high quality. It is such a comfortable place to stay with cushions, throws and a lovely bed which meant we slept really well. The owners provided everything you could possibly need with plenty of extras such as a dog lead and bowl, poo bags and a cupboard full of other holiday bits and bobs. The kitchen is modern and full of crockery, glasses and cooking equipment. There were also really nice welcome gifts of wine and Welsh cakes. The outside area was lovely, especially at night with all the lovely lighting. It was safe and perfect for our dog. It really is a dog friendly house. The owner popped round on the afternoon we arrived to check we were settled and had everything we needed. A thoughtful touch. We loved this house and really hope to be able to return. Many thanks to the owners for such a wonderful stay.

Cant say enough about this beautiful home. So clean and comfortable, everything you could possibly need has been thought of . We had the best nights sleep we've ever had, it's so quiet . Location to Benllech beach is a bonus and only 10 minutes to Llangeffni for shopping . We came out of season so couldn't take advantage of the rear garden, another bonus if staying in the warmer months. • "We have been back home a couple of weeks now and we wish we were back at 19 Parc Delfryn."

It was peaceful, quiet and let the whole family (inc the dog) recharge our batteries. 19 Parc is is located on the outskirts of Brynteg and the local pub is less than 500mtrs away (The California, is a down to earth local pub. That sells good reasonably priced meals. Great value and a good pint). The golf course is directly opposite, not a golfer, but we walked the course several times with our dog, it's nice. Back to 19 Parc, we have stayed in cottages every year for the past 10 years and we would put this up there as one of the best we have stopped at. When you first walked in, you can see the owners take care of it, it's clean, tidy and well kept and a good choice of decor and colour schemes. 19 Parc is roomy and airy with a lot of space to relax in internally and externally. The living room is open plan with 2 comfortable plush couches, a good size TV for evening viewing, what more could you ask for. The kitchen is a good space, with all mod cons, nothing to worry about here. The main bedroom is big, with a king size bed, enough storage space for all your clothes. The juliette balcony is a nice touch. The second bedroom is smaller and had 2 single beds, but still has enough space. The bathroom upstairs is well equipped and the shower works well (we have been to other cottages, where the shower is a trickle). The is also shower/rest room downstairs, which comes in handy. The garden is designed for rest and recuperation, some nice chairs and a gazebo coverd by a sun shade, for those who don't like too much sun. It has a parking space at the front of the house. Really it has all the amenities you need for your holiday. Ian the owner visited mid week to check we were happy and if we needed anything, a nice personal touch. Things to do are vast, we know we did not see everything we wanted, but if you like walks and beaches in picturesque scene, you won't be disappointed. There is a local nature reserve, about a 10min walk away and its vast. A good walk for the dog. We recommend 19 Parc and if we get the chance, we will go back to the 19 Parc, hopefully next year.
